Our Best Trips to Italy
Highlights of our Italy Tours
1. Amalfi Coast: With shimmering seas, soaring cliffs and glittering coves, the Amalfi Coast is a great introduction to our Italy tours and practically a second home for us. Based at Hotel Due Torri, we explore the best of the region: secluded mountain paths, cliffside towns and chic Capri, often with the chance to visit Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius.
2. Tuscany: From the rolling vineyards of the south to the mountainous north, our trips to Tuscany take you away from the tourists. Explore by bike or on foot, but always with the chance to fuel your adventure with great food and world-renowned wines.
3. Sicily: Our Sicily tours get under the skin of Italy’s largest island – a culture-packed destination of ancient ruins, medieval churches and prehistoric caves. And then there’s the food: pronounced by locals as the best in Italy.
4. The Dolomites: Spectacular mountain routes are linked by a series of fixed cables, ladders and bridges. Ranging from simple to technically difficult, they give you the opportunity to explore breath-taking mountain scenery on our walking and trekking tours.
5. Puglia: The heel of Italy’s boot, Puglia is one of the lesser-known destinations from our Italy tours. Don’t let that fool you. The Apulia region will surprise you with its picturesque landscapes, ancient hilltop towns, emerald waters, and lush farmlands dotted by ancient olive trees and conical shepherd huts known as trulli.
With so much to see and experience, you’ll not want to miss our trips to Italy.

Deborah Burton Cycling in SicilyMy cycling tour of Sicily was absolutely fantastic! The landscapes and seascapes were breathtaking, the food and wine were delicious, and the hotels offered a comfortable retreat after long days of cycling. The guide, Mattia, and support van guide, Sebastiano, were exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and consistently attentive to our safety on the roads and in every city and town we visited. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to discover Sicily. Although my first cycling tour was challenging, it was a tremendous success and an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!
Susanne Maden Walking in SardiniaA week of walking around Sardinia and learning about the amazing history of the Nuragic people who lived in the area!
Carolyn Okon Walk The Prosecco Hills & Hidden VeniceIf you think you’ve “done” Italy, think again. This trip takes you beyond the crowds to the rolling Prosecco Hills (a part of Italy I had never even heard of before coming to work at Exodus!), charming villages, family-run wineries, and hidden corners of Venice that most visitors never see. It’s the perfect blend of active exploration, incredible food and wine, and authentic local experiences.
We’re in the pre-Alps, so there are definitely some inclines and declines and uneven terrain, so make sure to save those Aperol spritzes for AFTER the hikes 🙂
