A great trip. Very busy and on the go most of the time but very enjoyable. A good mix of walking and fantastic opportunities to see wildlife. Our guide, Cloud, was very knowledgeable, calm and organised and a very good cook. The weather was much hotter than expected with drought in some areas. This made walking slower than expected and so we didn’t manage any optional additions to the walks. Accommodation was varied with electricity intermittent at times and water at a premium but very welcoming staff and great catering. We have both loved our trip.

Gail Madeley Cape Town to Victoria Falls – Hotel/LodgeWhat a great way to experience four different countries in one holiday. After a few days in Cape Town, we travelled north to Namibia then east to Botswana and Zimbabwe where our holiday ended. You are immersed in the local ways of the communities visited and the only way to do this is to travel by road.
Sam Murray Kilimanjaro Climb – Lemosho RouteAs an Exodus staff member, I know how much people love this trip – but experiencing it for myself took my appreciation to a whole new level!
The local team are simply brilliant. It’s fair to say I would have got nowhere near the top without the positivity and knowledge of our leader, Happyness, and assistant guides Lucy, Joyce and Florian, plus all the support crew. On top of that, the group I joined as a solo traveller was so welcoming and funny – every day was a blast.
Additionally, the Lemosho Route itself felt like a great choice. Just having that little bit longer to acclimatise may have been the difference between me getting to the top and not.
