Whether you’re sleeping under the stars on the bank of a river or visiting a village school we combine the adventure holiday of a lifetime with the opportunity to experience local life. Our goal is to provide adventurous yet sensitively run trips, and our Africa holidays are the kind that thrill and leave you with a sense of achievement.

“Everyone got the opportunity to get to know each other, and wherever we camped there were no other groups. We felt immersed in genuine, wild Africa, with the views and sounds that go with it. We stayed on a sandy island in the middle of the river and camped on the riverbank next to the trees, where you could sit and watch animals emerge. There were spectacular African sunsets, followed by fantastic starry skies with a soundtrack of animal noises. It was our most memorable holiday ever.”

We have done trips with wild camping before but this trip took things to the next level. On this trip you really do get away from it all and get very close to the wildlife. You really will be amongst the animals you’ve come to see. Early morning starts (be ready for 05:30 alarm calls) are worth it for seeing the animals still active before the heat of the day. ‘Assisted camping’ makes the whole experience more relaxing, with a great support crew to take care of putting up/taking down tents and preparing great meals. (You won’t go hungry.)

A packed and varied itinerary with desert landscapes, mountain walks and a chance to see a huge range of wildlife (we got to see the Big 5). Accommodation was good: big rooms, mosquito nets when needed, always a fridge and kettle, tea, coffee. Pretty good for vegetarians. Breath-taking skies and vast plains and mountains.

A great trip for seeing wildlife. We saw so much and pretty well everything except a cheetah.
Full of amazing moments and experiences from start to finish. The Chobe River cruise is a must as is the walk in the Victoria Falls Park.
Our group of 10 got on very well and made sure we moved around the ‘truck’ to share the bumps and reduced leg room seats.
