Arizona Tours & Holidays

There can't be that many names in America that instantly conjure up images of cowboys on horseback, Native American tribes camping under the stars and endless miles of dusty desert land where the silence is only broken by the howling of coyotes, but Arizona is one of them.

Thanks to its proximity to five neighbouring states and almost 400 miles' worth of Mexican border, our tours to Arizona offer a complex and fascinating cultural identity. As the home of Navajo, Hopi and Apache Native American tribes, you'll discover this land is rich in legends, nomadic ancestry and fascinating mythology that you’re unlikely to find anywhere else in the world. .

Aside from the mysterious legends and local hospitality you'll find on our Arizona holidays, you can’t deny that the iconic, other-worldly landmarks such as the Grand Canyon and  Monument Valley only add to this states mesmerising allure.

In focus: Local Arizona culture

The vast desert plains and mountain foothills of Arizona have long been held in high regard by the Native American people who truly have the right to call the state their home. Visiting the Navajo Tribal Park in Monument Valley or the Havasupai Indian Reservation close to the Grand Canyon on your Arizona tour will not only allow you to learn more about the ancient traditions of these great nations but also gives you ample opportunities to explore these incredible landscapes. Day hikes, trading posts and cultural exchanges make a visit to a Native American tribe a truly memorable experience.

Best time to visit Arizona?

Spring and autumn (particularly May and September) are good months to plan your holiday to Arizona, as temperatures are cool in the mountains and warm in the desert without being too extreme either way. If you're planning on visiting in July and August, the heat will dry and temperatures can range from 32-36 °C, with occasional brief downpours. Desert temperatures are known to fluctuate between cold and  hot all year round so be sure to pack adequate clothing. Arizona winters are often pleasantly warm, but if you’re lucky, snow can still be seen in the earlier months of the year.
