This trip could not have been better. Everything was meticulously planned and flawlessly implemented, the lodgings were beautiful, and the itinerary was just what I wanted: wildlife-centered. The safari guides were truly super-human in their ability to track and find the animals. They seemed to communicate with them and read their moods, all the while talking quietly to us about the animals’ diet, behavior, habits, and lifespans. Because we covered some long distances, we were able to see a lot of the countryside of Botswana and Zimbabwe, and we got to go to places that I couldn’t have gotten to on my own. It was a all-around superb trip.

Sarah Hibbert Borneo Wildlife DiscovererThe highlights for me were seeing orangutans (including babies!) in the wild, plus the rare pygmy elephants, alongside so much other incredible wildlife. Our local leader and guides were outstanding – not only were they brilliant at spotting animals I never would have seen on my own, but they also shared fascinating insights into Borneo’s wildlife and culture, which really enriched the whole experience.
I loved the variety of activities too – from hiking through the rainforest to snorkelling in crystal-clear waters, spotting wildlife on boat trips, exploring charming towns, and relaxing on pristine white beaches. It truly offered a little bit of everything.
This trip was magical from start to finish, and the orangutans in particular were such a special sight. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for adventure, wildlife, and unforgettable memories.
sophie moran Pantanal – Land of the JaguarUnlike the dense Amazon rainforest, the Pantanal is more open and flat, making wildlife easier to spot. Over 650 bird species, including hyacinth macaws, Toco Toucans, Greater Rhea, jabiru storks.
Jaguars (we saw Three!) We also saw Capybaras, giant river otters, caimans, tapirs, Coati, Howler and Capuchin Monkeys, Azara’s agouti, tamandua, Crab eating fox to name a few!
