This was an experience of a lifetime! I cannot recommend this trip enough. If you want to go wild camping in the African bush where you can completely disconnect from every day life and get back in touch with nature, then don’t hesitate to book this trip. You will be surrounded by wild animals, bird sounds and highly experienced staff.

Zambezi River
Zambezi River Trips
The Zambezi is the fourth largest river in Africa, running 2,200mi (3,540km) through six countries. Although it is unique in that it is barely developed, on its journey from central Africa to the Indian Ocean, it supports millions of people and vast populations of wildlife. It serves as the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, thunders over Victoria Falls and flows through the narrow Batoka Gorge.
This is also one of the most exhilarating places in the world to try white-water rafting and, on more gentle stretches, a great place to get up close to animals on a canoe safari on one of our Zambezi River tours. Large pods of hippo vie with shy crocodiles along the banks and herds of elephant drink the water and browse the vegetation. Carmine bee-eaters nest in sandy patches of riverbank and Goliath heron fish in the shallows.

lizette Lizzie Zambezi Canoe Safari
Sam Murray Zambezi Canoe SafariThere were so many unforgettable moments on this adventure, but seeing the wildlife in such a natural way, without lots of people round them, was incredible. Camping wild and going off-grid felt like an amazing reset and the tents were very comfortable. Couldn’t recommend this trip more!
Caroline Bissell Zambezi Canoe SafariThis trip is suitable for all regardless of canoeing or camping experience. The proximity to the wildlife is far superior to any previous safari’s I have been on. The pace was relaxed, excellent comping equipment, great guide, good food and scenery/wildlife was amazing
