Introducing Walter Campoverde – Expert Leader

Walter was born and raised on Santa Cruz Island and qualified as a guide when he was only 18 years old. His friends call him ‘Campito’. He is very passionate about nature and conservation, which led him to study Tourism Management and Environmental Management. He is a Master Scuba Instructor with over a thousand immersions and loves nothing more than exploring the underwater world.

He has been guiding in the Galapagos since 1985 and has a Level III National Park Certification.
