Excellent itinerary, good weather, comfortable accommodations plus incredible staff and meals. This was the most incredible group of travellers I have ever met on an organized tour. Our leader Tony was beyond spectacular and made this adventure 110% if that’s possible!

Tony’s organization, knowledge and experience cannot be surpassed. He was super friendly, helpful and accommodating to all of our group. Great sense of humour but kept us all in line and safe.
Definitely wear proper hiking gear and poles were definitely a plus. Don’t forget your swimming gear.
Pure class! A truly SENSATIONAL tour. Every care was taken to make sure that all the equipment, accommodation and schedule was of the highest quality ensuring that all the participants’ individual needs were catered to. The coast line is simply stunning and Armando’s local knowledge and investment in delivering personalised features ensured for a fabulous experience. The drive that Armando, Inês and Marieanne illustrated in terms of their commitment to sustainability, the environment and making the planet a better place was refreshing, re-assuring and delightful.
Armando showed unlimited patience. He exuded calm. His attention to detail was exceptional. His tour was very well planned, organised and structured. He attended to the needs of his customers in a quiet but thorough manner. When required he demonstrated great sensitivity and discretion. Further, his delivery was laced with a very dry, always appropriate, sense of humour.

A great hiking holiday walking different parts of the Great wall, from fully restored to original bricks. A mixture of tourist areas and wilderness.
The best days were the 2 days along the Jingshanling and Gubeikou sections as it was challenging, wild and beautiful, and across 2 dynasties
Group Leader, Jerry, was very knowledgeable and informative, with a great sense of humour too. He organised the group well, and matched our expectations of accommodation through the holiday
This is a great trip for those who like walking, be it challenging in places, and appreciating the views whilst being in one of the 7 wonders. For those who struggle with vertigo they need to consider that sometimes there are high narrow paths in places
If you enjoy cycling on quiet (resurfaced) roads, through dramatic mountain ranges, across high plateaus, following gorgeous river gorges and absorbing cobalt blue views along the coastal riviera, then this might be for you. The mountain air was so still and clean with all the associated quiet of mountain ranges full of distinct bird song, scents and sights of wild flower meadows and herbs. This cycling adventure has it all. The food and accommodation along the way provided authetic organic cuisine in the mountains in a variety of traditional family hotels and cabins. I felt very privileged seeing the beauty Albania has to offer, one can see that as a country and people they are looking to a brighter future having moved on from a difficult recent past. Such a great adventure to be had and I would thoroughly recommend taking the opportunity to explore this beautiful country.
So many inspiring moments. Collectively it is the mountain scenery and river gorges, the nature, the meadows, the varied landscape, the quietness, the bird song, the stillness of the mornings - beautiful.
We couldn't have wished for a more competent, expert leader who was so positive about the future of Albania and honest and knowledgeable about it's past. Erlis was a wonderful leader, clear in his communications, caring and friendly, very well organised and knowledgeable.
I've now been on five Exodus Adventures, walking, cycling on and off road (Morocco), canoeing (in Africa) - I have always had wonderful experiences and, whether good fortune, the groups have always bonded and been very friendly and suppotive, great fun and indeed often stayed in contact. I'm now thinking what my next adventure will be with Exodus.

Be aware of incompetent staff in immigration and hospitality. A member of my group had serious trouble entering and leaving Uzbekistan due to such people, another member of the group got into trouble as she was carrying US coins older the fifty years, it is an offence to do this in the same country.
The bike trip from Porto to Lisbon was amazing. The Exodus team took care of everything, making sure we had the right equipment, transported our luggage efficiently, and most important made sure we had a great trip. Our Exodus team (Ruben, Margarida and Jose) were outstanding, providing local knowledge and helping bring the group together. By the end, we were friends as well as travel companions. I highly recommend this tour.
Getting to the top of the steep hill on Day 3 and cheering as everyone made it to the top.
Ruben was fantastic. Great local knowledge; passionate about Portugal and the environment; and very caring and supportive to everyone on the trip.

I booked this trip only 2 weeks before & so happy that I did … I’d never been to Portugal & really glad that I finally have seen it by cycling .. Porto was beautiful & really wished as others have suggested that I could have come earlier .. the days on this trip were full on. we would cycle from one hotel to the next normally starting out at 9.30 ending at 4.30ish with lovely lunches each day paid for out of the kitty that is collected at the start of the week .. (75euro ) then a group meeting about the next days cycle & finally our group leader ( Ruben ) would book a restaurant for us. inevitably we would be back out the door for 6pm for drinks with eating around 8ish for those who wished to join … so very lucky with our group such a great bunch of people who were all very sociable

I always think it’s the guides that make these trips so special & I honestly couldn’t praise Ruben , Maggie & José enough for their knowledge & the care they took of each & every one of us, all of them are a credit to exodus
If your not a regular cyclist book an e-bike there simply are no hills
A good choice of walks around lakes and up to waterfalls and mountain ridges. Lunches in the huts were variable – we mostly chose soup and bread.

Alec is very knowledgeable and proud of his country. He swapped days and modified routes to reflect the weather and ensure we had the best views. Good sense of humour!
Be prepared for changeable weather - bring an umbrella! The food in the huts is quite limited - we chose soup and bread most days. Slovenian wine is surprisingly good (mostly) and cheap.
Some spectacular landscapes, fantastic Islamic architecture, fascinating markets – and some very long minibus journeys on bumpy roads

Vitali: Good fun, informative and patient. Svetlana: Elegant, expressive and a fountain of knowledge. Dilshod: Encyclopaedic knowledge of Uzbek history, polite and resolved a couple of issues with aplomb
Bukhara was hotter than expected - 41C in 2nd week of June. Yurt camp warmer than expected. Do not leave coins in your hold luggage when flying out or there will be trouble. Make sure your hotel registers your stay with the authorities. One of our group was missed by the last hotel and had trouble leaving Uzbekistan as a consequence. The number of mosques, madrassas and mausoleums can be overwhelming.
