The first offers a guided introduction to local varieties and cellar traditions, followed by a tasting that reflects the area’s distinctive microclimates. Wander the narrow lanes of the Call, step inside the Cathedral and Arab Baths, and follow a section of the ancient Roman wall, where views open across tiled rooftops and the houses edging the Onyar River.

A relaxed lunch in the old quarter sets an easy rhythm for the afternoon, which unfolds beside Banyoles Lake.
