In 1990, Ilse cut her first tracks in Kvitåvatn snow, visiting as an intern with her Dutch university. It was love at first sight. She skied every day for six months and later returned to complete the Norwegian ski instructors course. She’s now been leading groups for almost three decades, imparting her copious local knowledge and passion for the natural beauty of the environment with our travellers.
