A fantastic weeks walking – tough- but the views were worth it!
Most Inspirational Moment
Seeing eagles and vultures soaring above us, and did I mention the views? Stunning. Lake District limestone walking with sunshine! Oh and the lunches - fantastic.
Thoughts on Group Leader
We had a fantastic group leader - local and extremely knowledgeable. I trusted his knowledge and guidance completely, and felt totally at ease in his group.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Sturdy boots and a good head for heights.

An amazing experience. You get really close to nature!
Most Inspirational Moment
Seeing so many elephants up close.Watching some of the most amazing sunsets and sunrises.
Thoughts on Group Leader
CB was excellent. His hard work, calm manner and unending patience made the trip extra special. The way he and Achmel(?)produced such excellent food on a tiny heap of wood or charcoal was amazing.Thank you so much to them.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Take some gloves as the canoeing can be hard at times when you are up against the strong wind.

Cycling Morocco's great south
Brilliant cycle holiday and 100% recommended. This holiday is very much about cycling through beautiful Moroccan landscapes and eating some very tasty Tagines.
Be-warned there really are only two directions to cycle on this trip and that’s UP and DOWN!.. the climbs are difficult and challenging even when not listed as so in the trip notes (however there is always the option of getting in a support vehicle if you want to). The descents are AMAZING.. think we clocked up around 60km per hour plus at times. There is very little flat on the whole trip… but every hill was worth it!
Most Inspirational Moment
Not Inspirational but on day 6 when you have cycled your final BIG hill (not the last hill) there is a long flat road at the top of the mountain, followed by an incredible long descent. This was a great chance to really see and appreciate where you are and what you are doing - really fantastic last cycle day.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Female travelers should know that you need to wear long shorts and have your shoulders covered at all times. This isn't in the trip notes but worth knowing when deciding what to pack.

Namibia - 4WD Desert Explorer
This trip was everything I expected and more.this was my third trip to Namibia but this time because of the wild camping I saw far more and really appreciated the beauty of the desert and of Namibia as a whole.
Most Inspirational Moment
The couple of days we spent in the desert.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Frank Austin was excellent, he taught us so much about the history of the areas we went through, about the problems of the endangered species and of the people, I do not think we could have had better.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Take a travel wash basin and sink plugs with you because most camp sites do not have them.

Camino de Santiago
This was a terrific cycling holiday with some challenging and varied riding days. The guides, Nacho and Xavier, were well organized as well as being humorous and entertaining. Each day brought different challenges whether that be riding a trail that was more akin to a mountain bike trail or the 6km killer hill that was so thick with fog at tge end that it felt eerie or even the 14km downhill which was a great opportunity to get in touch with your inner child.
Most Inspirational Moment
Climbing the 6km killer hill that was prefaced by a 4km hill that was challenging in its own right. It was at the end of a 62km day and after backing up from such a miserable previous day it was quite a euphoric feeling charging up that hill ( I made it a workout and gave myself a time to do it in)
Thoughts on Group Leader
Nacho was terrific. A great personality who was good for a laugh but also took his role as leader very seriously.
His offsider Xavier, was a great back up and the two of them made a great team.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Make sure you train properly. If you are coming out of an Australian winter try and do at least 3 Spin sessions a week. If you can get out complement the Spin classes with some hill training on a real bike. If you are a fair weathered cyclist and you like to ride around a lake on a Sunday this isn't the trip for you . Like most things in life you only get out of it what you put in. Most people don't do strenuous cycling 6 days in a row let alone challenging hills that you will encounter on this trip. Have a coke at lunch time too it helps you get through the afternoon.

Cilento and Amalfi cycle trip
Enjoyable trip through some scenic locations and good accommodation.
Most Inspirational Moment
Thoroughly enjoyed the last day's cycling along the Amalfi coast. Fabulous views and I felt that the drivers along that busy road were considerate to the cyclists.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Paolo was a good leader, and was a great support to me personally when I struggled in the heat/climbs on the first day. Safety for the group was paramount to him, so sometimes I missed the reward of speeding down the descents after a tough climb.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Beware teh mosquitos in the agroturismo stop - they were waiting for us and the repellants seemed to be to their liking.

Walking in Albania
A well thought out itinerary to show various places of interest as well as good walks off the beaten track
Most Inspirational Moment
The family home at over 5,000 feet self sufficient having cows, sheep and chickens.
Thoughts on Group Leader
A friendly informative chap but let too much time slide by to miss a few things
Advice for Potential Travellers
If you book this for the walking and after all it is called walking in Albania you need to get at the guide about time to get everything done

Classic Kenya
What a fantastic week. I have to say that it surpassed even my expectations. Previously I had been to Tanzania and that was great, but this holiday will be hard to beat. A great group of fellow travellers coupled with excellent guides in a beautiful setting with a host of various animals.
Most Inspirational Moment
Driving across the Masi Mari and viewing the big Cats. Not just once, but on several occasions and being just a few meters from them. The seem just not to be bothered. Seeing the "Chase" the "Kill" the "Attack" such photo opportunities, not to be missed.Even sightings of Rhino.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Our tour leaders were the "Drivers/Guides". We could not have asked for more from them.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Have a good camera. And be prepared for the holiday of a lifetime.

Walking in Provence - TEA
Different walks each day with amazing views towards the Alps. Not too strenuous and the ascents/descents are not that difficult if taken slowly.
Most Inspirational Moment
Visiting the beautiful town of Moustiers and looking down in the Verdon Gorges.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Pierre had been thrown in at the deep end as the regular tour leader could not make it. Shy at first, he soon got used to us and became an important part of the group. His knowledge of the area could not be faulted and his pace on the walks was always sensible.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Take a travelling kettle as there are no coffee/tea making facilities. Don't expect gourmet food and make sure you ask for the cheese course!
