North Morocco - full of surprises
The trip covered alot of ground and gave a real insight into the different dimensions of Northern Morocco. We had a great group and group leader. Some thoughts on potential changes to the itinerary:
* would have liked more time in Tangiers on the 2nd day to explore the medina; the morning felt rushed.
* Loved Chefchouen, but felt that it would have been good to leave for the mountains after breakfast and taken a picnic. The mountain environment and refuge were special and it would have been good to have had more time and done more walking there
Fes was a great highlight to end with, both from the place itself and the riad
Transport back to the airport was efficient and well organised
Most Inspirational Moment
Hussain 11 mosque in Casablanca - the beauty and craftsmanship was out if thus world
Also our time on our own when we arrived in Casablanca. It was Ead and to see all the crowds out celebrating by the mosque on the Sunday afternoon was amazing
Thoughts on Group Leader
Aman was very knowledgeable, especially about his home town Chefchouen. If we caught him out with a question he couldn’t answer, always researched and came back. He was well organised and made the trip relaxed and fun.

Well run and a good blend of organised activities and free time.
Most Inspirational Moment
The walk to the waterfall and the picnic. The guided tour around Fez.

Mohamed was helpful and thoughtful. I suspect he did a lot behind the scenes to ensure our trip was a success. Everything was well organised.

Despite the torrential rain in Fez and feeling very cold at times, I loved the format of the trip. Aman led us well & was informative, relevant and with a sense of humour who willingly answered all questions.
Excellent tour guide, who adapted well to the group Interesting itinerary and saw many interesting places. Great culture and geography.
Most Inspirational Moment
Tangier coastline Visiting Chefchouen… it’s the reason I went on the trip.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Aman really made this trip work so well. He was brilliant. Exodus should keep a hold of him. Aman did great on a new trip. Impressed with train & transfer organised by Aman from Fez to Marrakech. He went above & beyond.

I highly recommend this trip for anyone who loves Morocco and Moroccan culture. Our guide, Aman, was fantastic, very well organised and instrumental in creating a wonderful experience for the whole group. My only advice would be that if you travel in January, be sure to wrap up as north Morocco can be quite chilly. That said, despite the cold, a fabulous time was had by all.
Most Inspirational Moment
Our guide Aman, as well as all the lovely places we visited.

I love the ability to travel through a country and experience so many different things with (usually) like minded people.
Great guide. Aman was very attentive and helpful. So lovely to see a young man with so much pride in his country and culture.
Most Inspirational Moment
Certainly not the rain!! Chefchaouen was lovely, as it was the guides home town we saw lots of things. Cookery class was good but so very cold!!

Couldn’t fault Amal, he was thinking on his feet the whole time. Great sense of humour ) even in his 3rd language) a very nice and focused young man!
