Great trip, good organisation and a nice group of fellow travellers. Accommodation basic but adequate.

Marrakech Trips
One of the ancient capitals of Morocco, Marrakech has a long and fabled history. Surrounded by huge red mud walls and just 65km from the towering Atlas Mountains, modern Marrakech has lost none of that charm, with its soul firmly rooted in the Djemaa el-Fna – the huge square at the heart of life here.
Myriad souks lead away from the Djemaa el-Fna (thought to mean ‘assembly of the dead’), and they can keep a wanderer happy for hours. But it is the square itself, with its acrobats, storytellers, snake charmers, boxing matches and food stalls, that provides the main draw for the population of this great city, as well as a great place for people-watching.

Nii Bannerman Highlights of Morocco – In ComfortAn lovely tour that really took you through the heart of Morocco. From the local markets, the mountains and the Sahara desert. Those were just a few of many great ventures we took seeing so much of the country!
Nick Lobo Climb Morocco's Mt ToubkalWe went in September. It was 40°C in Marrakech but a lot cooler in the mountains. Beautiful unique scenery, with added goats, mules and sheep. Walking pace was steady and the whole group made the summit of Toubkal. Food good and varied. Base campsite a bit grubby. Medina in Marrakech is walkable from hotel (2km). Don’t expect to find alcohol here. We’d definitely recommend this trip, which enables acclimatisation to the altitude.
