I didn't know quite what to expect never having been on an organised trip before and being a bit of a loner. However the holiday was amazing. Not only was the walking good, although I might have liked something a bit more strenuous, but the accommodation was just right with lovely views from our balcony room and our guide was wonderful, providing history and stories to enlarge our visual experiences. All in all it was a most satisfactory holiday which I am still thinking about long after my return. Thank you Exodus,
Loved the Demosarios Gorge walk also swimming from a lovely bay.
Can't speak too highly of Thanos. Not only was he interesting and entertaining but also very dependable.

We first entered the wall at Mutian Yu by walking up through the fields and trees from a small village. This was a great way to experience anticipation and then the wow factor.Leaving the restored wall and continuing onto the crumbling parts being taken over by nature and having long sections to ourselves, breath taking beauty of the scenery. Beyond Gubeiku toward Jinshinling a thundery sky bringing the mist to settle in the valleys and the wall peeking above with layer upon layer of purple peaks-magical!
A great big thankyou once more to Kevin Wang (Wang Shengrong) our local guide who was fun to be with and funny, patient and caring, informative and did his utmost to make everyones holiday special. If you are expecting some time to yourself theres not a lot."Shopping" opportunities are rushed alsoIf you like English style tea (ie. Tetley/Builders type) bring Teabags and powdered milk. However, Jasmine tea does grow on you! If you fear using the chop stick bring a spork but its mighty good fun getting to grips with them.The Chinese massage is almost torture, the Kungfu show a mixture of martial art demonstration, acrobatics and ballet dance to a story and music- fabulous and the opera exactly as I knew it would be an experience! Other members of our group that went to the Acrobatic show were well impressed. I would have gone to them all if I could have. You should try at least one.
Fantastic views and you hardly see a soul on the walks. They are hard treks on rough paths and a fast pace is needed to complete the walks in the time. The food was excellent in all three places in which we stayed.

He was superb. Organisation was excellent in all aspects. His command of English and humour were fantastic. He was justifiably very proud of his area.
We think that it must be a hard grade B and you need to be fairly fit to keep up and enjoy the pace.Paths are rather rougher than many found in the Alps.
A very enjoyable walking holiday with lots of interest from watchiing cookery demos to visiting a small cheese production factory. Walking was graded correctly.
Seeing the coastline from the top of gorges- a definite WOW factor!

Must like walking down many steps on a hot day! Walk to Amalfi has many steps.
A warm welcome greeted us at the airport by our fantastic tour leader Sanja Reiter. I knew from the beginning that the trip was to be a fun and informative one. First stop was the UNESCO pretty town of Trogir, from there we took in the sights and sounds of Split, Korcula (great island and do try the vino from the region), Mjat and the gem of a city Dubrovnik. The optional day trip to Mostar in Bosnia did prove quite a contast but an important one to see.
Our tour of Dubrovnik was very interesting and sad in some respects based on the recount of the destruction of Dubrovnik during the homeland war. It was inspirational to see how both the city was rebuilt and also how the tourist trade is again flourishing.
One of the best tour leaders around I would say. Sanja is a treat to meet, full of fun, pertinent information, she worked well with all members of the group who ranged in age from 70 to 32. What struck me most about Sanja is her conscientous nature and love of her country, people, song and culture. Exodus travellers you are in for a treat if you travel with Sanja.
The holiday is not too active, it blends a few good walks with plenty of relaxation time. My tour went in October, which was a lovely time of year to travel in, the hot months of July and August might not be best time to travel.
Best Exodus cycling trip so far, Brilliant rep in Ana, beautiful country, outstanding views, great group of like minded people. Would recommend this trip as a must on anyones ‘wish list.’ Just loved the whole experience cycling in sunshine with my daughter and new group of friends.
Boat trip to Mljet and cycling around the lakes plus swimming in beautiful crystal waters. Lunching on fresh mussels over looking the lake.
Ana was amazing, strong, fit and just a wonderful personality. Made the trip for us. Local knowledge re the rides and local resturants. Very confident and organised. 10 out of 10 for her enthusiam.
I am a mature lady and just cycle for pleasure, you just need a reasonable level of fitness and confidence on the bike. This trip is just the most amazing way to see Croatia.
What a fantastic trip to a country with such diverse habitats, wonderful birds and mammals. Providing the opportunity to experience coast, mountains, cloud and rain forest, which although wet was at least warm!
Difficult to highlight one in particular as there were so many, but perhaps the two that stand out the most are Tortugeuro beacuse of its natural beauty, peace and tranquility as well as the abundant wildlife and the cloud forest at Savegre looking for the elusive Quetzal among other things.
Gustavo our guide was excellent. He spoke very good English and had an in depth knowledge of the very different areas that we visited. He was also a very good spotter of wild life and had a broad knlwledge of plants, birds and animals. Orlando our driver was also excellent, spotting our first Sloth up a tree on the roadside, truly incredible as we all got out of our minbus and spent quite a few moments before we could identify where it was.
Take a small collapsible umbrella for the rains and be prepared for your clothing to feel almost constantly damp during 'the green season' due to the high hunidity. Other than that, don't spend too long thinking about it, book it and go! What an experience.
Awesome trip to Sardinia’s west coast. Cycling in the hills was really nice and the scenery was fantastic.
The hills to reach the destination for a picnic lunch! The weather was spectacular every day for us.
LOVED the group leader, Michele. Very attentive, speaks English well and cares about every individual in the group. Enrico was also with us and cared about everyone, attentive as well. The two of them were great and I would have them again on the next trip.
Practice hills. It is not a race so you do not have to practice riding fast. It is not a difficult vacation of hills (Amalfi Coast is harder) but you do need to know how to climb 10% grade hills for several Kms. Just practice them and you will do well on this vacation. It is for every age and size, as long as you practice.
I absolutely loved this trip!! Bhutan is a very fascinating country with beautiful people and amazing scenery. The combination of trekking in the Himalaya and experiencing the culture is absolutely mindblowing and I can highly recommend this trip to everyone!
Trekking through the Himalaya was mindblowing for me. You don't get to meet any people and can walk in your own pace in a breathtaking environment and that to me was sooo amazing. Also being able to learn about the culture and attend the Thimphu festival was a definate highlight.
Pasang and Dorji were absolutely fantastic tourguides who took care of everyone at all times. They were very knowledgeable and easy-going. If I ever come back to Bhutan I would make sure that either one of them would lead the tour.
Trekking in altitude is definately something different then doing the same amount of kilometres in 'normal' conditions so make sure to be fit... Also make sure to take a shirt with a collar cause otherwise you cannot attend the Thimphu festival. This was not mentioned as clearly in our tripnotes so a couple of people ended up borrowing shirts from the guys...
