Expedition Leader & Naturalist
A Chicago native, Michael earned both his B.S. in biology and an M.S. degree in ecology, ethology, and evolution at the University of Illinois. He spent 10 years conducting research around the Pacific Rim, and taught field biology courses at the University of PNG, which led him to a career as an expedition leader, taking travelers from the Arctic to the Antarctic and many places in between.
