Brilliant Adventure

I’d never done anything like this before and I absolutely loved it! The cycling is in some stunning locations across Jordan, with great roads and just the right level of difficulty for me. It’s completely different to anywhere I’ve cycled before, but Ammar (our cycling guide) made sure that we all enjoyed it and got the best out of the trip. The parts off the bike were amazing too – especially Wadi Rum and Petra! They’re both unlike anything I’ve seen before and I loved exploring them. Mekhled was a fantastic leader and was always looking out for us and always going the extra mile to make sure everyone was having a great time. Overall, I had a brilliant time and I’d recommend it to anyone!

Out of this world

This was a once in a lifetime adventure to one of the most beautiful places on earth with a wonderful group of like-minded people. Oman is so diverse in its landscape and there is so much to see. It is culturally so different and the people are so kind, helpful and gentle. It’s safe and welcoming.

Most Inspirational Moment

Too many to name The sunset in the dessert as well as the stargazing that night. The Wadis The Grand Canyon The Grand Mosque The food

Ahmed was just brilliant. He was a fabulous tour guide who made the trip what it was - just amazing. He looked after everyone and shared a huge amount of knowledge about the place and the culture. He was very inspiring.

Advice for Potential Travellers

This is the most amazing trip - its full on- but in a good way - you feel like you have been away for weeks

Amazing Holiday

Such a great trip. Vietnam is beautiful and the people are very friendly and the food is great. So much to see and do. Much more to Vietnam than all the war films would have you believe.

Most Inspirational Moment

I loved all of Vietnam, but I just loved Angkor Wat the most. It is awe inspiring. Particularly enjoyed doing Ti Chi at 6 am on the top of the boat in Halong Bay with the stunning cliffs as a backdrop.

Thoughts on Group Leader

Our tour leader in Vietnam was amazing. So helpful and knowledgeable. The Cambodian leader not so good. She got us lost one time and nearly drove off without two members the next day.

Advice for Potential Travellers

The hardest decision is what time of the year to come, as there are 3 different climates to contend with. November worked for us and we only had one downpour.

Cape Town & the Garden Route

I see Caroline & Chris have already completed a review which has saved me writing anything as I whole heartedly agree with what they have submitted! This was my 6th trip with Exodus and it rated favourably with all the others. I think you can rely on consistency with Exodus. If you don’t want to have to think about what you are going to do the next day or where you are going to eat or even what you need to wear on your feet then choose Exodus!

Thoughts on Group Leader

Excellent - felt safe with all the hours of driving he had to do. He planned, booked and took us to our excellent good value meals.

Advice for Potential Travellers

Be prepared to eat & drink lots and put on weight.

Discover Chile

Our guide Alex Aguilera was fantastic! He organised the group really well, was a fund of information and always on hand to answer queries. The trip was varied and really interesting. The standard of the accommodation apart from Santiago, was quite basic but adequate. The meal by the local lady on the way back from the geysers, was poor, but apart from that, all the breakfasts were fine.

Most Inspirational Moment

Torres del Paine in Patagonia.

Thoughts on Group Leader

As mentioned above, he was FANTASTIC! Highly recommended.

Simply Amazing

A holiday of a life time. My mind was blown at every turn. I have never been on Exodus holiday before but am hooked for life. Xavier our guide the whole trip was excellent. So lucky to get someone not only organised but had a wonderful personality and nothing was too much. He went above and beyond to help everyone. You like him immediately and loves his job. There were no problems everything ran smoothly. Even when we could don’t walk the planned trek in Torres Del Paine (due to strikes from the park itself) an alternative route was sorted. Moreno Glacier was so oamazing and having climbed Mount Fitzroy I feel I could conquer the world. Penguins, Sea Lions. The most amazing Patagonian landscape. And Iguazu falls to finish it off. I couldn’t recommend it more highly. Hard to be back just want to wake up in Argentina !

Most Inspirational Moment

Mount Fitzroy Moreno Glacier Penguins Iguazu Falls The views generally

Thoughts on Group Leader

The best. Exodus is lucky to have him. Don’t lose him whatever you do.

Advice for Potential Travellers

Couple of tips. When walking ten hours - Mount Fitzroy take a water pack ie a tube that you can sip on frequently. I got heat stroke that day and think this would have been a much better idea to keep permanently hydrated. Of sun out that day. Keep back of neck cool with damp cloth which you can regularly dip in all the streams you pass climbing up. Lots of snacks for energy. Also if exodus are to stay in Puerto Natales again as we did. There is a wonderful museum at the. Hotel Singular And the most amazing lunch. 5 star it was amazing . Some people might not want to climb Torres Del Paine like me and this is brilliant. The hotel is so unique . Something you might find in Europe and it is built in old meat packing factory but has kept it authentic and the history there is really interesting. Museum attached . Also another museum in port natales as well which is interesting.

Amazing Trip!

Beautiful countryside, just the right amount of challenging hills, and amazing food and drinks – what more could you ask for? This trip is so well planned to see the best that Puglia has to offer. Matera is a must see (we spent a couple extra nights there and HIGHLY recommend it if you can), but the real gem here is the countryside full of olive groves, old farmhouses, small towns, and beautiful sea views. Our personal favorite parts were the small towns we stopped in daily for a cappuccino breaks – you won’t see these places from a bus. Our group leader (Manny) made the trip unforgettable – he kept a good pace, told us just the right amount of history about the area, and made sure we well fed and taken care of. While we didn’t require van support – we always knew he was there if needed – and brought fresh snacks (and water) daily to all our stops. Of course the highlight for us was staying at Maseria Bosco (day 4) – the old farmhouse was the perfect place to stay for the evening, surrounded by olive groves, and the restaurant was amazing. Thanks to all the recommendations and support from Exodus before our trip – we got engaged this night, they went above and beyond to make it perfect!

Most Inspirational Moment

Day 6 - cylcing from one sea to the other felt like such an amazing accomplishment.

Thoughts on Group Leader

Manny was amazing throughout the whole trip! . His restaurant picks were top notch, and recommendations for how to spend free time was always spot on! We unfortunately had a couple of incidents in our group, which were well taken care of.

Advice for Potential Travellers

The Italian way is much more laid back and leisurely than what most of us are used to - be prepared for that, and just bask in the beauty of the Italian countryside (or grab an extra gelato).

Manasalu Nov

A challenging and adventurous trip which I thoroughly enjoyed

Most Inspirational Moment

Seeing Manasalu at sunrise

Thoughts on Group Leader

Excellent and very helpful

Advice for Potential Travellers

Make sure you are fit, there are some long trekking days

Fabulously varied trip with amazing scenery, flora& fauna, experiences and selections of accommodation

First group tour for me and I was relieved to find I loved it! My husband had done charity group trips before but not a ‘holiday’.

Very varied in terms of accommodation styles, experiences, landscape, seascape and people on the trip – both on the minibus and locals.

Excellent guide too!

Most Inspirational Moment

Lion roaring, elephants (soooo many) playing, whales breaching. Dining like houseguests in beautiful homes, waterfall swimming, braai eating, sea pool swimming. Table Mountain views. So much more…. And laughing every day!

Thoughts on Group Leader

Andrew from Mask Expeditions is a top bloke! Professional, kind, funny, energetic, capable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic! We enjoyed his company very much. Picked all the good places to eat and organised table bookings (front with views etc!), and transported us all even though evening meals were not included and in towns like Hermanus and Cape Town we did have choices. He can also change a tyre ;-) and is a very responsible driver.

Advice for Potential Travellers

Make sure you stock up on drinks and snacks before going to Avoca Farm and Tsitsikamma. Evening meals are all extra but in those places and also De Rust there is not really a choice. But the meals supplied were fantastic and inexpensive. Go with the flow and enjoy! Accommodation in Tsitsikamma is basic - but the setting is fabulous. Some were not keen on the log huts. I loved it as an alternative and the location is everything.

Awsome scenery

The tour take you through some amazing parts of Morocco. The support team were brilliant, sorting bikes and providing great snacks and lunches. Some of the trails were particularly challenging, perhaps more than the itinerary suggests. Be prepared to walk some sections!

Most Inspirational Moment

The scenery is amazing.

Thoughts on Group Leader

Abde was a great leader, resolving issues for clients and inspiring his support team.

Advice for Potential Travellers

Bike handling skills rather than pure fitness were the key to being first rather than last!
