Great value, great first use of Exodus Travels. My wife & I traveled this tour together & both were happy with the variety of lodging each night and the support provided for self guided route. Using the GPS enabled smart phone app from the start was a game changer, a few other groups who rode separately and tried to ride the route instead following road signs got lost a few times & added 15km to the day’s route distance, no problems other than more saddle time then anticipated.

Had a fantastic time in Chamonix. A very well organized adventure through Exodus with a wonderful walking guide (Fred) and great support staff (Sol and Tom) who cooked fantastic food for us throughout the trip. This was the first guided walking tour my wife and I had done and we couldn’t recommend it more! We also had a great group of people who we spent the week with and are now fortunate enough to call our friends.
Making it to the top of the mountain each day and having lunch with incredible views!
Fred was a fantastic group leader. He ensured the group stayed together throughout each walk, was always patient and understanding and adapted when things didn't go exactly to plan. He was also a pleasure to speak with during the hikes and tried to accommodate our every request (e.g. finding an ice cream stop each afternoon).
Even if you're only in a half a mind to do this, don't think too much and just sign up. You won't regret it!
The whole trip was amazing and genuinely a lovely group of people.. friendly, interesting, generous and great fun. Well organised throughout with well selected destinations and knowledgeable guides .. not least Evalin who has such a wide knowledge of history, local people, the countryside … everything. We were also lucky to have Fatima with us too who was always ready with answers to questions and help/advice. Our drivers were brilliant driving us safely and comfortably through every type of terrain and on very narrow and winding roads … also friendly and welcoming. This was my first Exodus trip and I have already recommended it.
So much was inspirational .. the multiculturalism in Bosnia was inspiring, with different religions side by side, reflected in art and architecture. What I most enjoyed and was most impressed by was being with local people from the guides and bus drivers and also spending time with local families and small communities who greeted us warmly and welcomed us as their guests. Gorgeous surroundings, delicious food and wine.
Evalin is an amazing group leader.. he combines the energy needed to lead a group, the diplomacy to deal with any issues, huge enthusiasm and obvious passion for the areas we travelled through. I couldn’t believe the depth of his knowledge which brought history to life. He was flexible to group needs whilst keeping us on schedule and made the holiday fun for everyone.
You don’t need to pack as much as you might think … no ironing required! The Exodus packing guide is good. Be prepared for a pretty non-stop adventure with significant time spent on the bus including passing through border control. Go with the flow and soak up the experiences and chance to make new friends.
This trip was great. It is our 3rd safari trip and one of the best. The guide Angelo is very knowledgeable, friendly and available not only to explain about wild life but also to help with photo tips. This trip is great both for photographers and people who love wild life. But be prepared for loooooong drives on bumpy roads. Food was very good, traditional and authentic accommodation.
Walking on foot with the elephants in the Delta.
Brilliant, highly recommend our guide Angelo
if you are easily travel sick, avoid this route
“Tour guides took us on as many excursions as possible every day to show us wildlife (on small boats along the riverbanks of the Amazon river / walking tours inside the Amazon Rainforests.
The cruise crew was excellent. Tha band (crew members were excellent)”
Amazon river itself/ walks to the Amazon Rainforest/ meeting the indigenous people in the Amazon River
Robinson and Daniel were brilliant
The trip crams a lot in 12 days which would not have been possible otherwise without Exodus and your guides to make everything run on the itinerary like clockwork.
Halong Bay cruise Angkor Wat and the temples and enjoying the local food
They both worked very hard and ensured the trip worked for everyone in the group. Everyone in the group was very impressed and praised them at the farewell dinners.
A great mix of countryside and culture. Loved the walking in the mountains and the spectacular architecture in Samarakand and Bukhara.
Sleeping in a yurt, walking in the mountains and the eagle hunter display.
Vitaly and Dilshod are both excellent guides, very informative and knowledgeable about the countries visited. They are both friendly and well organised.
ATM are widely available and credit cards can be used in many restaurants and some shops so no need to carry huge amounts of cash. Clothes are more western than I thought and you only need to cover shoulders knees and head (women) when visiting religious sites. Temperatures in the cities in July and August are over 40 deg c in the shade and makes sightseeing very tiring, on the plus side it meant temperatures in the mountains were very comfortable. We didn’t need extra layers for the yurt which was lovely.
This was a fantastic trip from start to finish. We were blessed with calm seas and were lucky enough to see alot of wildlife including blue whale, reindeer, foxes, walrus, lots of gillmots, kitiwaks, and puffin and of course polar bears. The activities were very well organised and stress free and the service onboard was fantastic Would recommend to anyone interested in the polar regions.
Definitely the 3.30 am wake call to see a Polar Bear on the ice. He started about 600 metres away from ship and then made he way right up the the base on the ship, walked up and down several times before heading back out onto the ice
The expedition leader Ryan did a great job of choosing where we went and kept us well informed throughout
As Quark provide you with a jacket no need to pack one. If you want to take your jacket home leave space in your luggage
We returned have from our Egyptian Family Adventure holiday and wanted to pass on our thanks and a few comments, we will, in due course write a formal review on your website but wished to get your feedback first. Our overall thoughts and feelings are very positive, we’ve had a really great adventure in Egypt and have left feeling like we’ve seen some of the most important aspects of the history and culture of this ancient civilisation. Our guide Sayeed Mansour was fabulous and deserves to be commended by your company, he is unfailingly knowledgeable, organised, patient and humorous. We felt that the balance of tours, activities and relaxation was good for both adults and children, both varied and accessible to all, so very well done to you. The accommodation was of a good quality with the hotel in Luxor being a highlight. We were disappointed to be given a smoking room in Hurghada (Beau Rivage) which needs noting, Sayeed did his best to change this but was unsuccessful. Our one criticism which we would like you to address is the optional tour to the Cairo Museum on day 3. We felt that this is such an important aspect to understand the context of the history Egypt (doubly so as it contains the relics of the tomb of Tut Ankh Amun) that it really shouldn’t be an optional tour costing 44$ USD per person. The face value of the entrance to the museum is only 300LE (approx. 9.5$USD). As a family of 3 we paid £104 GBP against a face value entrance of £22.50GBP. We understand that we would need to pay for our guide’s time and the bus/driver/bodyguard etc but on balance the consensus of the group was that the multiple of 4.6 was probably rather excessive. We would be interested to hear your calculations on how the tour price was determined. If you feel like reimbursing a portion of our money as a gesture of goodwill then please do get back in touch. Finally and although not within your remit I’m sure our flight experience with Egypt Air has unfortunately been less than ideal. We were left within the aircraft in >40C heat yesterday morning at Cairo airport for 1.5 hours and no AC and when arriving at LHR and waiting >2 hours for our luggage we find that many bags on the flight, including ours, are still in Cairo. We’ve filled in the forms at the airport and await their prompt return to our home, hopefully! We are most definitely actively considering another Exodus family adventure holiday for 2024!
The Valley of the Kings in 45C heat and watching the sun go down over the Nile.
Excellent.

This was an amazing and unforgettable trip. The hikes were fabulous and the itinerary was ideal. 3 nights in each place meant you got to see a lot in each area and there wasn’t too much driving. The focus was on the hiking and the views and seeing the best of each area. This trip enabled us to see the best spots while at the same time getting off the beaten track. Would highly recommend this trip, well worth it.
Everything was exceptional and very well organised but the trip to Landslide Lake was probably the highlight for all the group. Sentinel Pass and the Edith Cavell trail were amazing too.
We had 2 guides, Jeremy and Sabrina. They were just incredible, both individually and as a team. Extremely professional, competent and highly efficient in every aspect of their role. On each walk they were so informative about the mountains and the landscape, they pitched the walks at the right pace and made sure everyone was OK. They were chatty and friendly and catered to everyone's needs. The food on the trip was phenomenal, massive variety each day and plenty of it. Can't praise them enough, they were amazing. The next group to get them will be very lucky indeed.
Yes, bring plenty of layers for the cold mornings and nights. Also, there's only one opportunity to do laundry and that's in Jasper around day 6 or 7, just bear that in mind.
