I love the small group format of Exodus Tours, and the tour leaders and places visited is generally excellent.
Angkor Wat, Cambodian Circus, Ha Long Bay Cruise
We missed the usual local guides for each City/place in Vietnam, since Bao was not quite confident enough to share lots of local and historical info, but in Cambodia Ly did an excellent job imparting local and historical information.
The people on board the ship were very talented and passionate about sharing the Amazon
Playing soccer in a local village with the children; seeing the butterfly exhibit there also
It was our 10th trip with Exodus and the standard was again excellent as we have come to expect.
There were many highlights but Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, the Mekong Delta and Angkor Wat stood out. Meeting the friendly Vietnamese people and experiencing the scooters at rush hour was also most memorable.
Exceptional all round leader who loves his country and wants to share as much of it as he can in the time available. Definitely another highlight of the holiday.
Quality of trips offered. Clarity of materials provided to prepare for trip. Personalized service.

Content was good, and all trips were on time and well organised. The tour guide in Vietnam (TV) went out of his way on a daily basis to ensure we all understood what was going on. He really did create a family atmosphere which meant we had no concerns or worries about our expeditions or meals
The Ha Long bay experience and the meals in general - TV took us to some places we would not have chosen without his expert guidance. Also enjoyed Hoi An.
I really cannot rate TV high enough - he made the holiday - he was on top of every situation and ensured everyone of us were on board. His organisational skills were excellent - It was a seamless set of experiences. He really went above and beyond his remit to ensure we all had a great experience.

We are just home from a fantastic tour of Sri Lanka. Never has an Exodus holiday (this was our eighth tour) been so diverse of culture and wildlife. For example, day one, we were sitting in our hotel which was right beneath Lion Rock (the ancient capital of Sri Lanka) and that afternoon we went on a safari and saw loads of elephants in their natural habitat. Day-after-day, there was something to experience – temples, wildlife, locals, forests, cycling, trekking and even a couple days at one of the world’s top surfing oceans. Most of the hotels were of an excellent standard with lovely swimming pools. Generally speaking all Sri Lankan staff are very slow and laid-back but after a couple days we felt that this attitude actually helped with the relaxing, chilled atmosphere. Our guide Roshan was highly experienced – he was incredibly diligent, thorough and knowledgeable with exceptional attention to detail – one of the best Exodus guides we’ve met so far.
“Highly professional support team and an excellent trip leader. Everything went extremely smoothly to the extent we didn’t need to think or worry about a thing. The places we went to and people we met were fantastic. An overall excellent experience.
Only one small niggle – I ordered an electric bike and there were issues to the extent that I had to revert to using a standard bike. Luckily I am fit enough that it was not a problem, but if people are relying on electric bikes to enjoy the holiday, it could be a show stopper for them.”

Well planned itinerary, excellent guide, very interesting tour. Good accommodation and good group size.
The two long cycle days in Thailand and the first day cycling in Vietnam. Staying at the hotels in Siem Reap and the Mekong Delta, the simple but delicious lunches at well chosen restaurants, the dinners - especially the social enterprise restaurant in Siem Reap and the restaurants in the Mekong Delta and the farewell meal in Ho Chi Minh City.
Constantly went out of his way to make sure all members of the group were having the best possible experience. Excellent organisational skills and very hard working. Always cheerful and a pleasure to be with. Outstanding.
The trip was well organized and the trip leader Rit was outstanding. We have done many trips with different guides and he was world-class.
