Hi - Yes we are (Rob and Fiona). Can't wait!  We're from Leeds, you?

Jane_Sellek

Yes, my husband (Peter) and I are going - and we're from Leeds too!

Hi, we're going too (Chris & Sally). Driving down to London from South Staffs. What kind of baggage are you guys taking?

Hi Everyone - great to hear from you all.  I'm from Bristol.  Can't wait to go - only about 13 weeks now!  Anyone ever been with Exodus before?

We'll probably take a large ruck-sack each, and 1 day bag between us. Starting to think about clothing - it's going to be roasting out there, but should be mainly a dry heat.

Never been with Exodus before, but have heard good things. Have been on trips with Responsible Travel and GAP, and they were both fantastic.

Hi,

How are people getting on with their preparations for the trip?

Hi - I'll be joining you on the trip from Hampshire with a week's supply of wine, loo rolls and dried fruit (that was the advise from someone who has been on this trip!!)  I look forward to meeting you all :-) Susie

Hi Everyone - Hi Susie - are you travelling by yourself too?

Well almost prepared - just coach tickets to Heathrow and iodine based water purification tablets to buy!  I did ask Exodus about how they recommend we convert currency when we get there.  I read somewhere else on this site that the money exchange at Casablanca is closed - Exodus said they'd investigate it.  Also they said it was best to take English or US notes to change rather than travellers cheques.  Not long to go now!

Hi everyone, I'm travelling on this trip with my daughter Tess and we are both looking forward to meeting with you all. I'm a retired teacher from Kendal and Tess is a teacher in Warwickshire. Tess has friends who enjoy spending their holidays by the side of a hotel pool so she has decided to try a little adventure as an alternative! You are all welcome to email me at [email protected] for more information about us.

Best wishes from David McNamara

Hi to the new posters!

Has anyone been to a country similar to Morocco before? The nearest I've been culturally is Egypt 10 years ago and I loved it.  Apparently it's Ramadan while we're in Morocco - should be interesting.

How are people gearing up for the heat?

Hi Lisa - I'm also a single traveller on this trip!  This will be my second visit to Morroco (and the last trip was during Ramadam, based in Agadir...so it was very, very noisy after nightfall) but my only expedition into the Atlas Mountain was on a very bumpy jeep ride with two small children.  I must admit that I'm strating to get nervous as the trip gets closer, but after a mint tea (yummy) I'm sure we will be running up that mountain.  I look forward to seeing you soon.  Susie :o)

Hi Everyone - not long to go now!  Looking forward to meeting you all in just under 2 weeks time!

Hi all. It says in the trip notes that we need a sleeping bag. Are people going to take one? Seems excessive as we're in hotels most night? We have silk liners, so we might just take those.

 Not long now!!!!!
