Loved everything about this trip, the chalet, the staff, the food and of course the hiking. Chalet holidays bring out the social side of people and the 13 guests made this trip fabulous and so much fun. Zoe and Ben, your food exceeds expectations!

We had an excellent holiday around mont blanc. Zoe and Ben were great hosts at chalet chocolat. We are both vegetarian and the food was superb. We loved the freshly baked cake on our return from our hikes. Mark was a great leader and very knowledgeable about the area. Overall 10 out of 10 from us.
All of the walks were great. We particularly enjoyed the amazing panoramic views.
Mark had extensive knowledge of the area and catered well for the needs of the whole group.
To fully enjoy the walks you need to be able to cope with the ascents - it's worth it when you get there! Our leader, Mark, made sure we had enough rest/water stops and we stayed together as a group.
My first Exodus Holiday and hopefully not the last. I have wanted to see Mont Blanc close up for years and, after visiting Chamonix for the day last year and NOT seeing it because of low cloud, this holiday was a ‘must do’ for me. I am now 77 so time was running out.
Apart from being shocked by my lack of fitness (I joined a gym and did as much walking as practical – my husband has dementia} beforehand, everything exceeded my expectations: the chalet, our hosts (superb}, the lovely food, our leader (brilliant), a really friendly, kind, and helpful group, the fantastic mountains, and perfect weather.
Thank you so much Exodus
Seeing Mont Blanc and Aiguille du Midi from our chalet for the first time.
Egle was brilliant. She was knowledgeable, supportive, kind, and good fun. When I struggled she was really helpful and understanding. She really helped to make the holiday.
I am sure I would have benefited from more really steep ups and downs in my legs beforehand.
Summer Time and the living was made so easy in Chalet Chocolat by our outstanding hosts Zohi and Ben, they presented us with a smorgasbord of delights on a daily basis , starters, mains and desserts to die for. If that was not enough, GBBO standards of cake for afternoon tea . While sitting in a hot tub soothing tired muscles looking towards Mont Blanc we all concluded that location may be everything but our Hosts were the icing on the cake. We also did a bit of walking, words can’t really capture that part!
Balcony walk and the stunning views at every turn
Flight was cancelled, accommodation is unacceptable, staff pushed to their limits, everything was in a rush, and all what Exodus can say – we are very sorry and will not consider any form of compensation

He was under too much pressure
Yes, avoid it, use Exploor, Intrepid or Tucan instead
A superb selection of hikes on the Tour, an excellent guide, easy transport to less accessible start/finish points. and a lovely chalet and hosts is an unbeatable introduction to the glories of the Alps. The weather, well, you need a bit of luck. We did, for most of the hikes. Thoroughly recommended.
Undoubtedly the views of Mont Blanc from all the angles, whatever the weather. But if I had to choose, it would be the summit of Brevent with full views of the massifs in blazing sunshine over a picnic lunch.
John was excellent! An experienced guide & climber, instruction, information & encouragement all rolled into one.
Previous feedback suggests that this is a Grade 2 or 3. For me, this is definitely a Grade 3 - mostly easy walking, minor huff and puff on sections of some walks.
A fantastic week. The accommodation was top notch as were the chalet caterers. The description of the weeks walk was accurate sadly the weather let us down a little.

A fantastic weeks walking with our guide John Briggs. John proved to have in depth knowledge of the area. He was able to juggle the itinerary to suite the weather conditions. Our group was mixed ability and John set an appropriate pace and always seemed to be in the right place at the right time should anyone need advice, encouragement or just a little reassurance. His evening briefings were informative and gave us all the information we would need for the next days walk. Top quality guide.

Had a wonderful week walking in the Mont Blanc massif. Everything was fantastic – the walks were thoughtfully planned and well guided, chalet was comfortable with amazing views, food was delicious and varied, company was excellent……..and the weather was brilliant.
Being up high!
Egle was an excellent leader. She adapted the walks to the ability of the group, made sure the pace was appropriate for everyone, is knowledgeable about the area and has a wonderful sense of humour.
This was my first trip with Exodus, but it won’t be my last. From the moment we pulled up to the chalet we were greeted by our hosts Zoe and Ben who immediately grabbed our stuff and showed us to our rooms and made us feel right at home. The Chalet Chocolat is very cozy and homey with a view out the back that never gets old. Our hikes were terrific, challenging but so worth it. Every day was different. The terrain, the scenery, the challenges… and the views. Our leader, Egle was great! Fun, sociable, knowledgeable and very organized. We very much enjoyed her leadership and had alot of laughs along the way. The food is amazing. Having cake waiting for you when you get back from a long day of trekking is even better than it sounds once you’ve done it. And these are real homemade cakes that are to die for. 3 course meals every night? So spoiled!
I think it was our 4th hike, up to Aiguillette des Houches. It was a big hike and our group had been struggling with altitude and general malaise. There is a section that is very narrow and tricky just before summiting and everyone got through it like a champ. Being up there all together was something special. Also, crossing a heavy flowing stream forcing us all to get our feet wet and Egle helping everyone across by standing in it and other members of the group assisting as well. Very cool.
Egle was a great leader. Smart, organized, sociable and fun. She kept an eye on everyone and always had our safety at the forefront. I would love to trek with her again.
This trip is still quite challenging physically. There are some significant ascents and descents on some tricky terrain and narrow passages. The altitude can also play a factor. Not to be underestimated.
I couldn’t have asked for a better trip, helped by excellent weather. Zoe and Ben were responsive and friendly hosts (the food was amazing!) and Egle did a fantastic job as our guide. The walks were challenging in terms of ascent and descent but always worth the effort. The chalet was very comfortable and the group was friendly and fun. I would happily recommend this trip to anyone of reasonable fitness.
Inspirational is a word I don’t use really, but the views were spectacular each day and the scenery is wonderful.
Egle couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful, with nothing being too much trouble for her.
Make sure that you have a reasonable level of fitness....
