Atlas Descent

Get in some good hill climbing practice before you go as some of the climbs are extremely tough and make sure you are not afraid of heights as some of the sheer drops off of tracks, piste and road went down vertically for hundreds of metres !

Nile Cruise - Premium

A superb trip.  The various temples and tombs are amazing in their age, and in the sheer mass of carvings and paintings and how well preserved they are, let alone the scale.

Yellowstone Wildlife Walks

This was a really enjoyable trip through some of the most iconic scenery in the USA. We were also lucky enough to see a lot of wildlife, including four sightings of bears - one very close up!

Wildlife of Ethiopia

Not knowing quite what to expect this turned out to be one of our best "adventures". Were alll a little worried about the food and the obvious poverty and famine problems as seen on TV.  The areas we went to had plenty of water, they seemed to be surrounded by lakes and the food was better than expected. Try the local food as well.!!!

2,600km in 12 days doesn't sound so much, but those potholes, bumps and roads still under construction made for some very long days in the bus. My sense is that I sat through Senegal watching from a window, rather than engaging with it. It was a pleasant trip, which included a mix of coast and river, town and national park.
