After the first night of getting lost in the desert and no real reassurance from our guide the holiday did improve! Walking across the desert was an experience, completely desolate for miles and miles.  The food was as expected, Saharan flat bread became the stable food - best warm otherwise becomes quite chewy.  Lunch was mainly salads which were nice and refreshing and dinner was ncie and warming with soup followed by a form of stew.  The hotels were basic, but all that was needed.  Sleeping under the stars was amazing. An enjoyable holiday.

A busy, very interesting trip to a very "foreign" culture, which no matter how prepared you are, comes as a bit of a surprise. Cutlery for instance is provided as an optional extra for westerners, and none of us had the courage to try the ubiquitous hookahs!  We were regularly woken by the morning calls to prayer, both at first light and again at sunrise. The Syrian people are, without exception friendly and helpful. The younger ones are especially keen to practise their English, and we were charmingly approached on several occasions.

I enjoyed the fantastic views, seeing Mount Everest, Ama Dablum etc was wonderful and was the reason for going on the trip. I was expecting the paths to be better than they were, and I was not expecting so much precopice walking, although I don't suffer from vertigo several on the trip did and found this very difficult to deal with. The Everst Summit Lodges were lovely and the food there was plentiful and good (the exception was the lodge in Namche Baazar which was definately not up to the "luxury" tag). Unfortunately being hold up in Lukla for an extra 3 days (I know that was less than lots of people) put a damper on the end of the trip because of the additional difficulties the delays made workwise etc. The people we met were wonderful and overall I would say I had a very good enjoyable holiday (with the above exceptions).

Another great experience with Exodus ticking another must see off my list.  We packed a great deal in in such a short space of time and the varied itinery made it all the more memorable from pyramids, to cruising on the Nile, to exploring temples and bazzars, to snorkelling in the Red Sea.   There is so much to do and some great barganing to be had, especially if you are after a scarf!  However, be wary of the sleeper train, particularly if you suffer at all from motion sickness.

A great trip with superb guides. The itinarary was different to the trip notes, which do need to be revised; St Catherine's Monastery is not open on a Friday.  The camp sites were varied and not quite as basic as Exodus suggested.  We had toilets and showers in almost all and usually hot water as well.  I would suggest that Exodus give some thought to changing flights to Sharm rather than Cairo to reduce travel time between Cairo and Sinai.

An attack on all the senses, this highlights trip will introduce you to all that India has to offer but be warned, it's not for the faint hearted! Mavel at the majestic Taj Mahal, gaze in wonder at the Ghats in Varanassi, enjoy the tranquility of the parks and palaces in central Delhi and maybe see the elusive tiger (we did) but prepare to experience the chaos and poverty that you will see everywhere.

This was one of the best holidays of my life! I usually prefer exploring on my own to packaged holidays, but this was the perfect balance to be introduced to Syria in a week! I look forward to going back on my own for longer!

We really enjoyed this holiday. It was the teenage departure and there was a good mix of ages. The trip was organised well so that there was a good balance between sight-seeing and relaxation. This enabled the young people to spend time in the pool in the afternoon. The hotels were of a higher standard than I was expecting. The Cairo hotel was so peaceful with a lovely pool and lovely tented areas to have drinks in the evening. The Luxor hotel had a balcony and we looked out over the hotel gardens, pool and river Nile, the sunset over the Nile was beautiful. The hotel in El Gouna was also very good in a great location.

An amazing holiday! Full of adventure from beginning to end. Organisation of the trip was fantastic- we were all really well looked after throughout our time in Tanzania! Would recommend this trip to anyone looking for a fun packed challenge.
