Classis Kenya Safari

A lot is packed into the week, and the sightings of some of the best wildlife in the world - mammals and birds - were wonderful. The group was really nice and we all got on very well; the accommodation was perfect and the food delicious. All-in-all a really good trip.

Action and adventure with time to chill out too

A great adventure week in a lovely town - plenty of action with enough downtime to spend quality time by the hotel pool. Kas is a fun touristy town with wonderful restaurants and bars, shops and a beautiful harbour. The views from the hotel rooms are fantastic though that does mean some huffing and puffing back up the hill at the end of the night. I loved the range of activities and the feeling of satisfaction when we sat down for a wine or beer every night! Some of the activities were more full on than others.

An absolute gem of a tour

Wow - what a holiday! I really felt that I saw and learned a huge amount about Turkey in just 2 weeks, and though it was busy with quite a bit of time in the bus some days, there was enough down time to relax. It helps that the tour guide was fantastic and the group were a great bunch too.

Highlights of the Dolomites

Yet another superb Exodus holiday. This was my 7th trip in the past 7 years and once again it was excellent. The group were all great company & great fun to be with, the walks were stunning and the leaders were superb.

Balkan secret

The holiday visited areas of Europe where many people would not think of visiting, they are missing stunning scenery, interesting history and the chance to eat fantastic pastries atop a mountain, the best we have ever eaten.

Prague to Budapest cycle

This was my first exodus trip and I enjoyed every minute of it a great way to see 4 countries. I am not a keen cyclist by any means but all you need is a good level of fitness as their are frequent breaks on the way. The distance covered each day is just right and becomes easier as the trip goes on building up a good level of fitness. You have plenty of time to explore the city's after the cycle normally arriving late afternoon with a guided tour and free time . I would highly recommend this trip and I will definitely be booking another cycling holiday .

Highlights of Nepal

This was my fourth Exodus trip and I have very much enjoyed all of them. Not being an exercise freak I was a bit concerned about fitness and walking but the guide was very good at leading the walks (in the heat and sometimes high humidity) at a steady pace with frequent short stops. The one hard morning climb up to Raniban was balanced by having the afternoon to relax. In summary, there was no part of the trip that wasn't enjoyable, among a group of very friendly fellow travellers.

10 days in Albania

A whistle stop tour of Albania starting in Tirana travelling south to Butrint and back up the coast before flying back. This is a fairly busy schedule with a fair amount of travelling around central and southern Albania. Having said that the longest day was the best in terms of scenery.

Kenya Classic Safari

An amazing trip! It lived up to all my expectations of the magical Masai Mara - open spaces, big skies, beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

GR20 Corsica September 2014

The GR20 is an amazing experience not to be missed. It is the toughest hike I've done but don't let that put you off. The scenery is incredible and the climbs are perfectly manageable if you have reasonable fitness and a head for heights. Staying in mountain huts adds to the authenticity of the experience and none of them are that basic - hot showers were available almost everywhere. Food can be a challenge if you don't like huge lumps of white bread but charcuterie and cheese are incredible. Don't expect to make friends with any Corsicans - they don't feel that way inclined!
