Everest Base Camp & Gokyo Lakes

Truly the hardest but the most amazing trip I've ever done. An excellent trip from start to finish. We were looked after by the best leader and guides and we had the best group to trek with. Awesome!!!!!!

You have to go!

This trip has so many positives it is hard to list them all but here goes; Organisation from Exodus pre-travel was excellent as was the slight changes I made to my trip to accommodate onward travel to Hanoi. The guide was amazing and her humour and attention to detail made it all run really smoothly. This type of holiday allows you to see at first hand real people and observe their sometimes simple and challenging lives, you would never see this in a coach or car. The bikes were were good quality and sized accordingly. Roads and tracks were easy going really, some shallow inclines and easy off-road. The issue i guess is the heat when cycling rather than the distance. This is compensated for by regular pre-planned stops and plenty of fluid and nutritional snacks, provided by the kitty. The support crews were the unsung heroes really, they made it all work so easily and despite most of them not speaking any English they were always happy to help. It was this whole package that made the trip work so well. The hotels we stayed in were o0n the whole very good and the food was good too. We chose as a group to eat together each night which was a good way to unwind from the exertions of the day! A group holiday required a bit of give and take and that means being a bit laid back, group dynamic is everything to a successful trip. Our group was great ans we all got on really well and helped each other when required. The trip itself offers quite a variety of experiences such as remote farming and fishing communities, temples (plenty of those!), some 'nightlife' such as Pub Street in Siem Reap and equally tranquil moments in really remote places. The variety is there too as each country is different in many ways and it is this that you will remember most.

La Ruta Maya

Excellent sites - didn't know about Tikal before I went as was aware of Chichen Itza but this was amazing. Was aware before going that there would be long journeys but some were too long. Exodus need to look at day from Lake Atitlan to San Cristobal de las Casas as this was 12 hours - too long. Great companions on the trip.

Relaxing and Interesting Holiday

A good balance of sight-seeing, walking and enjoying local ambiance in a beautiful part of Italy. Not as rushed as some Exodus holidays but still full of interest. Time to enjoy cappuccino, gelati and wine. Beautiful walks along the Amalfi coast Great local hotel with excellent food and plenty of vegetarian choice.

Whistle stop tour of Southern Iceland

Great first experience of a group holiday. Couldn't have asked for a more friendly bunch of people to spend 5 days with. Well organised and we couldn't possibly have fitted anything else in. There wasn't even time to look in the visitor shop sometimes - but I coped!

Myanmar one of the best

I expected a country like Myanmar to be a struggle to get round and some delays. Instead I found a country where people were amongst the nicest and most helpful honest people anywhere. Myanmar is full of pagodas and temples and they are worth seeing and exploring. The country is also a blend of other other Asian countries around it making it a joy. At no point was the journey boring in any way, either the people or scenery kept your eyes busy.

Fun and Challenging Weekend away from the Office

This was a very good trip, and ideal for those who find it difficult to get the time off work for adventure, or in particular, those whose inbox floods if you take too much time off! The scenario around the summit of this peak is beautiful and the climb itself is a good test, but very achievable for those with a decent level of fitness.

Discover Colombia AAK

My first group tour & my first time to South America. A well organised and interesting trip. Nice group of people from all over the UK and Europe from various backgrounds and age groups. Very informative site seeing tour with easy walks within national parks, coffee regions and city locations. Enough time on your own if needed to look around, yet always felt part of the group.

cycle Indochina & Angkor

I thought the whole of the trip was excellent and very well organised. Nee and all of the staff in the 3 countries visited gave a very good service with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. Nee made the trip memorable.
