4 Wheel Drive Desert Explorer

This was a fantastic holiday with a real wilderness feel. We camped in some stunning locations miles away from any other people and the scenery and wildlife were incredible.

Rwanda - Primate Safari

Seeing Gorillas in their natural habitat is truely one of life's ultimate experiences. If you enjoy seeing wildlife then his trip is a must. Rwanda is a beautiful country, full of lush vegetation and rolling hills, and the Volcanoes national park is no different (bar the extra height!). Rwanda also has an interesting history which is also covered by this trip.

Highlights of the Dolomites

This was a most outstanding trip, with excellent walks of grade 5. The scenery was magical, the Dolomites being very different to many mountain ranges I have previously walked in. The transport of both buses and ski lifts to the start points worked perfectly. It is an area I would highly recommend for its history and breathtaking ups and downs!

You really have to go on this trip! The scenery is amazing with a mixture of dramatic mountains and green hills. Lovely family run hotel with very high class rooms and food. Great leaders (Emily and Eric) who are very experienced and helpful and really want you to have a great holiday.

The amazing essential China tour

A fantastic, emotional, overwhelming and awe-inspiring trip. There is a lot of walking involved and a certain level of fitness – but heck – if I can do it – anyone can.

Essential Peru

This trip covers a huge amount in a short space of time. The scenery through the Andes is breathtaking and other highlights included Cusco, Macchu Picchu and the homestay on Amantani Island-basic but adequate. There were a significant number of early starts and long bus journeys. Some of the toilets were undesirable and it was difficult to obtain lunch-best to organise a packed lunch before leaving. I would recommend about $1000 American for meals and daily expenses. At times the tour guide gave insufficient information. On the whole a truly unique and memorable experience.
