DORDOGNE FAMILY ADVENTURE

This was our first Exodus experience and we loved it. Having never been on an organised group trip we were not sure what to expect but it all worked perfectly. We found ourselves in stunning countryside, enjoying glorious weather with a great group of people.  The children immediately hit it off and clearly enjoyed the adventure of sharing the activities with new people.  For us camping as a family was an important part of the experience and it couldn't have been made easier.  We also took the option to take the train, enjoying a few days in Paris on the way, which gave us a very welcome break from the car.    Left to our own devices and without all the local knowledge we would not have done or seen so much.  The activities were properly active which gave us a real sense of achievement at the end of the day. There was plenty of down time too, good local food and interesting places to visit.

MONT BLANC CIRCUIT

Yes, it’s the best trekking trip I have ever had.  Good roomy, thunderstorm proofed tents (easy to pitch up and dismantle), great camping sites (only two had no internet access, and no showers) with one having a large LCD TV screen to watch the Tour D’ France going up Alpe d’Huez (an excellent treat for me as I had biked up it 10 days ago), and, not forgetting, good food (four nights at local restaurants on Exodus tab).  Of course, the scenery was just awesome, and we took lots of beautiful picture postcards.

CYCLE THE BACKROADS OF SRI LANKA

Sri Lanka is a stunning country and cycling along the backroads is a great way to see it and experience all there is to offer. Every day is different with a constantly changing landscape to keep you interested as you pedal along. It's wonderful to get away from the busy roads and towns and onto the quiet backroads where children rush out of their homes to wave and call "Hi, Bye!" as you pass by. The people we met along the way were amongst the friendliest I've met anywhere.

TREKKING IN MADAGASCAR

An interesting and absorbing holiday. A sound introduction to Madagascar in just over 2 weeks. Trekking, towns and a beach to finish off. Landscape takes you through endless terraces of the central highlands, rainforest, Dolomite -like mountains of Andringitra and, desert canyon lands of Isalo. Ultimately the Lemurs have it though.  Accommodation fine (not luxurious) for Africa and excellent local tour leader.

WALKING THE GREAT WALL

A rare treat of a trip which allows you to be at 'one' with the Great Wall, seeing expanses of countryside, staying in local, friendly guesthouses with a dash of Beijing at beginning and end!

This was an incredible trip.  I never expected to cover so much ground, neither to travel such a distance nor to so fully experience this truly spectacular and otherworldly landscape, both by driving what would be considered as "offroad" in the UK, and by getting away from the roads and hiking to waterfalls and volcanoes.  I often had to remind myself to close my mouth, because pretty much everywhere was jaw-droppingly beautiful.

LADAKH: THE MARKHA VALLEY

What a trip this is! Pure adventure and exhilaration each and every day. Mountain peaks, glacier rivers, hilltop monasteries. This was a very fortunate experience to be in a small part of the world where time simply does not matter. No internet, no mobile phones, no facebook or twitter. Some might say its heaven.

TANZANIA CRATER CAPERS

This trip was amazing and really well organised. It felt like we'd done many different holidays and fitted in so much. There were so many amazing experiences and I've never done anything like it before.
