TREASURES OF SICILY

A very busy schedule with little time for relaxation but a great deal was seen. Mini bus was not very comfortable for long journeys and any anyone over 6ft would have only been able to sit on the back seat by the pasageway - only realy suitable for small people.

WALKING THE SPANISH HEARTLAND

Most likely I was the youngest traveler ever on that journey, but despite my age of 22 I truly enjoyed the holiday! The whole trip is so much more than "only" a walking holiday. Things like the visit to the monastery where we went to see some Gregorian chants and to the winery for a tasting of locally produced wines added a lot to the whole walking experience. Furthermore I enjoyed the scenic landscape! Thinking back now, the views we had throughout most of the week (and especially during lunch) were absolutely stunning! Walking along gorges, passing small villages, ascending moderate hills- very varied walking all in all. It is also a must to mention the hotel: (way too much) delicious food and very warm hearted owners made it a very pleasent stay! Last but not least, there is one more highlight: the vultures! I have never seen them before in their natural environment. I shall never forget observing those majestic birds!

HIGHLIGHTS OF ALBANIA

A facinating country of friendly, aparently hardworking people, emerging from a difficult and troubled past. The countryside is beautiful and some of the old towns facinating.

ADVENTURES IN BELIZE

Brilliant holiday. Very non-touristy (apart from the last 3 days. but by then we really deserved just lying on the beach or doing touristy things such as snorkelling and shopping!)

A WEEK IN JORDAN

Jordan is a crucible of ancient civilisation history and the sights of Petra and Jerash do outstand. How we also managed to fit in; getting mudified in the dead sea, seeing the sunrise (alright well not quite) on camel back and dolphin spotting in the red sea into our jammed packed week still baffles me. The only conclusion can be that time stands still in Jordan.

MT TOUBKAL LONG WEEKEND

So good I did it a seconds time. I loved this trip (Mid May 2012), it's not too far to travel and I'm not away from home and work for too long. You can nip there fore a long weekend, and experience some great challenges, Moroccan culture and have a laugh with new friends.

GALAPAGOS: IN DARWIN'S FOOTSTEPS

I have travelled with Exodus on several wildlife/discovery trips and this has to be the best ever. Sensory overload most days. Unique wildlife, plantlife and unreal scenery. Despite the evidence of human impact you can surely see why Darwin was so inspired. Staying on the islands rather than cruising gives you that added bonus of getting up with the sun and sitting watching the wildlife wake up.
