HIGHLIGHTS OF MOROCCO

This trip is a good introduction to the variety that Morocco offers, the cities, the Sahara, the High Atlas, the local villages and of course the souks of Marrakesh - mind blowing!

This trip comprised two very contrasting experiences - a full-on safari followed by a relaxing beach break - although I note it's changed for future trips with Zanzibar being offered as an extension. Both enjoyable but it was the safari I came for and I wasn't disappointed.

CAMELS & KASBAHS - FAMILY HOLIDAY

Excellent family trip which we all enjoyed for different reasons. The highlight for the kids was the the camel trek in to the desert and the 'sand surfing' down the dunes. For me it was very special to visit Tijhza village and volunteer for an afternoon and help build the hammam. Overall it's a busy trip but very satisfying and weather is excellent at October half-term - not too hot in the desert.

CYCLING IN GREECE

Finally reviewing my late summer holiday in January; perhaps that's a good distance, to see what I remember! I'd never been to this part of Greece before, and visiting by bike, plus the initial ferry, was a great way to do it. My overwhelming recollection is of sparkling blue seas; a fascinating introduction to the history of Greece, both ancient sites and the creation of the modern country; and a good mix of some tough hills and gentler cycling.

WILDLIFE AND WILDERNESS OF ETHIOPIA

Read all the reviews. I enjoyed myself very much because I laughed so much with our fellow travellers.  Having read all the previous reviews, I was not horrified by the accomodation or the awful bus. The beer and wine were nice and were cheap.  Evening meals were OK, not so good for vegetarians but OK for fish/meat eaters; lunches were foul! I actually found the hard beds comfortable. After dire warnings about Ethiopian tummy, I had the healthiest couple of weeks for years (but did keep hands meticuliosly clean and did not eat meat)

CYCLE THE BACKROADS OF SRI LANKA

This is superbly organised, well catered for, has exceptional logistic back-up, well thought through sight seeing and cycling routes and excellent post cycling activities. The fourth cycling holiday we've been on and the best in terms of delivery and customer service.  Suresh is a legend, hang on to this "gem", he knows how to ensure your holiday is a fantastic experience.  This cycling holiday has set the benchmark and will be hard to top thanks to Surehsh and his team.
