A great trek with what turned out to be a smashing group of people. An experience not to be missed.

We saw a beautiful and very varied landscape and a wide range of wildlife on this well organised and balanced trip, alternating between hot and humid areas and more temperate zones with optional opportunities for extra adventure.  Our excellent and very knowledgeable group leader managed the needs of the mixed age group very well, arranging extra activities often to break our journeys, guiding us to good restaurants and helping us to get the most out of the excellent forest lodges or hotels we stayed in.

SOUTH AFRICA: CYCLING THE CAPE & WINELANDS

The vital aspect of any Exodus trip is the mix of the group. This was no different; 13/14 folks eager to get on, and one awkward $*?ck£r ... there is always one! (his name available on request)Plus a great guide and driver.

Exodus Response

As it happens we have a brand new Namibian cycling trip this year - http://www.exodus.co.uk/holidays/mzn/overview - It takes in various places in the South and North of the country and includes a couple days on safari in Etosha as well! Oh and it has a good amount of camping too! :)

This trip is a great experience for those who want to cover a considerable amount of territory in two weeks.  I feel like we saw an amazing number of sights and had a superb number of experiences in such a short time.  Our leader, Roshan, is superb and he did a great job ensuring that the hiccups were minimal.  Plus under his management, the hotel check in and checkout process went off very well.   The only down side to this trip was that since we stayed in ten different hotels over the course of this trip that was a lot of packing and unpacking.  Also too much time was spent on the coach since whilst the difference that we covered weren't great, the generally poor road infrastructure meant that many hours were spent moving around. Finally, we could have skipped the one night stop in the town of Kitulgala (where the rafting was nothing that special nor the hotel that good either).  Instead we would have been able to spend two nights at the delightful hotel station hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

ICE CLIMBING SKILLS WEEKEND

4
An exciting 2 days of ice climbing, and 2 half days of shopping/sightseeing/relaxing in the beautiful Briancon. Ideal for beginners but you must have a head for heights and a 'can do' attitude to really enjoy it, you'll be left wanting more!
