Truthfully, it was not what I expected. I was not physically prepared for the terrain and although I completed the walks, I would not consider any of them 'leisurely' as advertised. Most, to me, were moderate. I had painful leg muscles for days which were worse on the descents. Although I walk regularly at home, the terrain would be quite flat. We decided to take Day 5 off and travelled to Ravello, where we were handsomely rewarded by it's beauty and charm. Day 6 was spent in Naples, Museums, discovering the city etc. By Day 7, the pains had mostly gone and we managed The Walk of the Gods with relative ease. I would have no hesitation in going on a similar holiday in the future now that I know what is involved in terms of physical preparation. I feel I pushed myself to a limit I didn't expect to achieve and for that I am happy. After all, isn't that what adventure is about. Despite the need for painkillers during the day and a Mojito or two at night, I would recommend this trip.
