Excellent holiday - really well organised with no 'dull' day. A great taste of Jordan experiencing so much and always felt safe. Petra is a must to see!

A whiz round Jordan

Busy schedule but very good. Highlight is of course Petra and it lives up to expectations. This trip involved quite a lot of bus riding. The camping was not as remote as I expected as we were near a road but it was much more comfortable than I expected too. If you are a bible follower I expect this would be a must do trip. Our group were a great bunch and more than anything this made the trip fun. We have all kept in touch since.

Jordan trip

This was a trip of a lifetime. Just loved it so much. We had such fun against a breathtaking desert backdrop. I also felt I learned so much about the geography of Jordan. It was more than I expected it to be and I would go back in a camel's heartbeat.

A Great Trip

This is a fantastic trip. It is really varied and you see so much of the country and experience so many different things that you feel like you have been away for a lot longer than 8 days

Jordan - Worth Visiting

Jordan is a lovely country to visit. In the midst of the current troubles in the Middle East, it feels safe. The history is evident in all the places visited - from the Romans through the Byzantines and the Crusaders to Lawrence of Arabia in Wadi Rum. Travelling in October the weather was pleasant - a couple of showers on the first 2 days but after that it was shirt-sleeves weather all the way to Aqaba, where the sun shone and it was 30+. There are so many different sites to visit it is difficult to pick a favourite. The 2 days in Petra were intensive walking and climbing, but the views were worth it and the site is vast so there is much to see.

A Week to Remember

We explored the best parts of a fantastic country, the sights chosen were well-suited to the trip, although the last day in Amman felt as though it was filling in an extra day of the holiday. The journeys themselves were well-timed, the only one that dragged out was the 4 hour slog back to Amman at the end. The people on our trip were lovely and the mix of ages provided a welcome sense of diversity. The options to eat local food were frequent and, had I not been ill, would have been taken every time. (Especially falafel - my favourite!)

A week in Jordan

This was the most amazing trip I have ever been on - just wonderful from every aspect! Our tour leader was fantastic - the best I have ever come across in terms of wealth of knowledge, personality and enthusiasm in helping us to get to know his country from every aspect; the food (which we were largely able to choose ourselves at restaurants each night) was fabulous and catered for every diet, value for money was outstanding as airport transfers and entry to all sites we visited was included in the trip fee, and the content was incredibly comprehensive - we covered so much ground and saw so many wonderful things in a week that we all said we felt as if we'd been in Jordan for 3-4 weeks! I cannot recommend this trip highly enough if you are interested in history, archaeology and lots of fabulous ruins!
