CUBA: LA ISLA GRANDE

Cigars, cars and Cuban bars... discovering the history, culture and people of a country laced with a fun atmosphere of music and dance.  Historical characters .. Castro, Che, Hemingway share your time which was wonderfully filled by the charismatic Yazel (our Cuban guide).

CUBA: LA ISLA GRANDE

It was much, much better than expected - the Cubans, the country, the scenary, the weather and the food were great. Our group leader was excellent - his contribution really made the trip .... absolutely nothing fazed him!

CUBA: LA ISLA GRANDE

What was amazing was the lack of traffic on the motorways - one car every 5 minutes!  Lots of bikes, rickshaws, pony traps, horses, bullock carts and trucks full of people.  Amazing 1950's American cars - couldn't take enough photos of them.  People waiting for lifts at every corner.  Music everywhere - cafes, restaurants, in the squares and parks at any time of the day.  Food much better than we expected.

CUBA: LA ISLA GRANDE

A really varied trip around probably the most beautiful island I've ever visited. Plenty of opportunity to salsa and sample cocktails. Definitely a holiday to remember.

CUBA: LA ISLA GRANDE

I can honestly say that this holiday ranks among the top five of a lifetime, or rather 1= among five. We had the best guide, the best bus driver and the best companions one could wish for, and La Isla Grande rose to the occasion. There can be no better way to undertake an exodus by traveling from one place to another and seeing such beautiful countryside, wonderful heritage towns and cities, sweeping panoramas, sandy coastlines, and friendly people. Thank you to Cuba and to Exodus.

CUBA: LA ISLA GRANDE

A wonderful trip which really showcased the best that Cuba has to offer. Plenty of time to explore gorgeous, colonial towns and learn more about the country's fascinating history, a few beach stops for much-needed r&r, some time spent in the beautiful mountains and definitely more opportunities to drink mojitos and dance with the locals than I was expecting! Undoubtedly full on but really great fun.

CUBA: LA ISLA GRANDE

A very good informative holiday with quite a lot of variety - beach/walks/culture - amazing to see the diffrerence in culture of a comunist state but the only down side was on the back half of the holiday there were 3 days of long traveling in a coach back to havanna - to me this could be broken up a bit better in planning of the trip -personnaly I would also like to have a bit more beach time but I did go for the culture as I know this will change soon
