This is a fantastic trip and I would wholeheartedly recommend it.  A busy itinerary that lets you do a bit of history and culture, tours around intriguing and architecturally wonderful towns, walks in some really lush and interesting scenery and opportunities to  over-indulge in great music, dancing, rum and cigars!  Bring a big memory card for all the iconic pictures you are going to take!

I expected Cuba to be fascinating politically but had not expected it to be such fun. And such wonderful wildlife, especially birds, also the tropical seas and forests.

This trip more than lived up to my expecations, you get to see so much in the two weeks. There is a lot of travelling but it is worth it as we visit most of the major towns and get to see the most important historical sites. I have spoken to other people who have visted Cuba and they just seem to go to Havana and then stay in a beach resort, they do not know what they are missing.

La Isla Grande was an amazing trip. It enabled us to see the whole island and to travel to many parts of the island that most tourists find difficult to reach eg the eastern side of the island like Baracoa. The variety of culture, history, music, landscapes, and people encountered on this trip was second to none. Our guide Enio and our coach driver for the two weeks Eduardo helped to bring a slice of typical Cuban hospitality to the table everyday and were excellent guides to their beautiful country.

Both my husband and I were thrilled with the Cuba Experience. The courier, Enio and our driver Eduardo, who looked after our, sometimes unusual requests, throughout the trip were marvellous and devoted to giving us as much insight into their country as possible, while meeting our every needs.

What a fantastic trip, so many different places, so much music, so many mojitos.  This trip had a bit of everything, history, beaches, cities, walks, mountains and all supported by a guide who shared so much about his country with us. I would recommend this trip to everybody - in fact, since I got back 3 weeks ago, I have!

A terrific trip for anyone who wants to find out about the real Cuba from colonial times through to the present day. There were plenty of opportunities to listen to good local music and join in the dancing which was lively and really good fun. Our group was very sociable and 'added value' to our experience.

After our unfortunate experiences with our Exodus holiday to Namibia last year it is pleasing to report that this was one of the best tour holidays we have enjoyed from Exodus or its competitors.  We found the mix of geography, history and sociology in a fast changing country absolutely fascinating.  The local arrangements were first rate although obviously you do not go to Cuba for international class food, wine and facilities. The itenary was excellent and we saw and experienced a lot.Having been encouraged by our guide to leave s/h clothes in Namibia last year we took out with us a collated bag of clothes etc, which was added to by our party, to donate to rural needy.  We would like to see Exodus include this type of suggestion in the trip notes for tours in third world countries where the wealth disparity between the tourists and some of the inhabitants is so great.
