My first group trip so wan't sure what to expect. The experience surpassed expectations for a number of reasons - principally 1. the mixture of fellow travelers, all interesting and genuinely friendly and positive people; 2. the excitement and rewards of getting to know the culture, history and sights (geography) and last but not least, a tour guide who deserves a travel award in his own right (see below!)

It was a very interesting trip fitting in lots of highlights in the time available. Our guide Moe Moe was a lovely, caring person who was very well informed and arranged things well when there were some hitches, such as us all not being able to fly on the same plane to Bagan.

Great tour of Burma.  Lots of different things to do and see.  We had an amazing guide (Joseph Zaw Li). He was extremely knowledgeable, open about discussing the political situation in Myanmar and very accomodating (we had a demanding group...)

This was a fascinating trip to a little known country and I saw all sorts of wonderful sights that I had not known existed.  We saw a lot in a relatively short time so it was busy, but there was relaxation time as well.

I thought this was a fantastic tour which represented very good value for money given how much you will see in a short time. If your time is limited and you want an introduction to this wonderful country, then this is the tour for you. I found Myanmar to be a very friendly and culturally interesting place to visit, and I am very, very glad I went. As this country is opening up, I would go now as many of the places you will visit are still untouched in their original form without the influences of commercialism. This represented to me the biggest charm of the place - it was so as it was and in todays developed world, a real find. I was simply overwhelmed by the place and would return again. Put it this way, as a keen photographer who has been travelling in one form or another for most of my life, there were times when I didn't know where to point my camera as there was so much to see!
