Inca Trail permits for the 2014 trekking season - there has been unprecedented demand
Posted: 22 January 2014
Since Inca Trail permits went on sale two weeks ago, there has been unprecedented demand, especially for departures between April and June. We still have spaces remaining on our Inca trail tours, but we don’t expect these to hang around for long, so book now to avoid disappointment. Even if permits have sold out for your chosen departure, we can still offer the fabulous Moonstone Trek as an alternative – this beautiful and remote trek requires no permits, and you will still get to see Machu Picchu in all its glory after the trek.

It has just been announced that Inca Trail permits for the 2014 trekking season are going on sale tomorrow, Thursday 9 January. As always, we expect a rush to secure permits for peak season departures, and if you’re considering challenging yourself on the trail this year, we strongly recommend that you book early to guarantee your place.
In the event that we are unable to buy permits for your preferred date, we do offer the Moonstone Trek, a fantastic alternative which can be substituted for the Inca Trail on the majority of our trips for no extra cost and which doesn’t require any permits – for more information click here.
