Less than 12 weeks to go and getting excited and ready physically. The trek sounds hard but with amazing views and culture. Hope everyone is looking forward to the trip. We have been on a number of Exodus trips and every one has been amazing in different ways. This one appealed to us because it is such a little visited country and it seems to include the trekking with a very inetersting culture.

Looking forawrd to meeting every one booked on the trip!

Hi

I am going on this too - cant wait. Have done no training but still plenty of time. I went on an Exodus trip in the 90's to Pakistan and Tibet so thought this one would be good.

This is one of the most amazing experiences you can ever have on this trek. I did it last year. But reading your notes about fitness I just wanted to let you all know this is one tough cookie of a trek when you reach altitude. Make sure you take lots of warm clothes and a metal water bottle that you can put in your sleeping bag at night because we slept in our clothes, down jackets, down sleeping bags and still couldn't feel warm. We woke up to snow on the top of our tents one morning!!

Im not being negative but I wish someone had told me all of this before I went as I could have been more prepared. The guides usually have medication for altitude sickness but it might be worth asking your doctor for some.

Of course you guys might have completely different weather and it will be a completely different experience. It is an amazing place, the people are amazing the scenery is breath taking. Have a wonderful time.

Thanks for the warning we will make sure we take all we have. Hope the training is enough but don't think we could do any more. Unfortunately we have been told a bridge has been taken down and there will be a change in the itinary so waiting to get more details. From other comments understand this not too infrequent
