Hi Angelina,

I've been with my kids on PGL holidays before and they are pretty active. Only my youngest is at home now and since he is nearly 17 this holiday seemed a lot more adventurous and more suitable. I've had to work hard to get fit for it though!

This will be my first holiday with Exodus but I am travelling on 2 others this year (without son) - the Masai Mara and Gorillas trip in September and the Vietnam Adventure in November.

How about yourselves? Are you experienced adventurers? Will we be safe in a raft with you?

See you soon.

Hello Brian 7 Andrew

8 days and counting.  I'm just doing my packing and holiday essentials list as I type.
My friend and I are staying in London for a few days before the flight so my holiday actually starts on Friday.  Woo hoo!

In reply to you Bryan, I wouldn't say I'm an experience adventurer but I'd pretty much try anything at least once.  It looks like you've got one hell of a year ahead of you though.  I'm so jealous.

I've travelled with exodus before.  Myself and some friends did the Cuba cycle last year.  It was absolutely brilliant.  Cuba is such a fantastic country and I came back really fit and totally invigorated.  The organisation by exodus was also brilliant which is why I'm back again for more.

Sounds like we're going to have a really mixed group which is great.

See you all in a week if I don't speak to you before hand.  Perhaps our paths might cross at the airport.

Ta ta

See you soon,

Lynn here, Angelina's mate. Not long now until we're all at Gatwick. Look out for us, I'm the Scottish one and Angelina is English. Anyone been Canyoning before? I'm unsure on the footwear front. Will sturdy walking shoes do rather than boots?

Hi Lynn,

We've been cannyoning on Arran before - it was great, especially the bit where you get to leap into the deep pools.  But I expect this to be even more spectacular. We wore boots which are more to protect your ankles and give you support as it's easy to lose your footing on some of the slippery rocks. I'm leaving my good boots at home and taking some cheapo ones I got from Sports Soccer for the cannyoning.

I'll look out for you on Monday morning.
