Heading on this trip in September and thought I would get in contact with some the others on the trip.

Hi Stuart

Think we might be on the same trip - departs London on the 7th (we've booked land only and are flying with KLM)? Travelling with my husband, Gavin - we've done quite a few exodus trips but not for a few years and nothing higher than 4000m. Really excited and really terrified about the whole altitude thing! Have you done any high altitude treks before? We're lucky that we live in Scotland and can get to the mountains at the weekends but not much altitude problems on our 3000ft munros!!

Hi,

I'm on this one too and starting to get really excited about the adventure!

I walked up Ben Lomod whilst the Royal Wedding was on but other than that my prpe so far has consisted of buying boots and gear so I am going to ramp it up over the next few weeks hopefully.

See you there

Hi,

Look forward to seeing you all on the trip! Being trying to do a bit of training recently by walking in the Mournes and Scotland (Glencoe), still expecting Kili to be tough though :) Went on the Inca Trail with Exodus last year and was ok with the altitude so hoping to be ok but not sure what to expect, the advice I have been given is to walk slowly and just enjoy the walk.

Hi - do you live in Scotland too? We've thought about going up to Glencoe a couple of weekends but keep waiting for the weather to improve!! We've done quite a few munros over the last couple of months and hoping to do a few more over the next couple of weeks. We got our Exodus kit bags the other day which made us realise just how close it is now! We've had our vaccinations and got our visas so all systems go!!!!

I live in Belfast these days but used to live in Scotland (Dundee) so have climbed a few Munros, brilliant walking in Scotland! Went and climbed Slieve Donard in the Mournes today so hopefully fit enough for Kili. Certainly not long to go now!!
