The walk up to Everest Base Camp came top in our Battle of the Treks article in this summer's Extracts magazine (http://www.exodus.co.uk/feature/battle-treks) and as the exponent of its virtues, naturally I completely agree with this decision!
I've never been up Kilimanjaro, but I do know Peru and the Alps well and whilst I adore both, Nepal blew me away - the mountains are bigger, the people friendly and fun and the culture and history fascinating. I can't wait to go back again.
Do you think we got it right, though? Do the marmots and fondues of the Mont Blanc Circuit do it for you or perhaps you preferred the satisfaction of hitting the summit of Africa's highest peak? Who out there has done all of these four classic walks?
Or is your favourite trek well away from these (justly) well-trodden paths?
