Is there much difference in weather between March  (towards the end) and April  (again towards end April)  for Inca trail?? Thanx.

Hi Jacqueline. The end of March is right at the very end of the rainy season in the Andes, and while it is generally dry, there is still the possibility of rain showers during the trek. The rain usually comes in short, heavy bursts during the afternoon, and as long as you're adequately prepared to walk in the wet it sholdn't pose much of a problem. Throughout April, the it gets steadily drier and the chances of a rain-free trek increase, although of course it's impossible to guarantee this. We operate treks between mid-March and December, and it is very rare for bad weather to affect the Inca Trail during these months - the heaviest rains tend to fall in January, February and early March. I hope this helps with your planning, but please feel free to call us if you'd like more detailed information on the trip. Thanks - Tim (Exodus trip manager)
