CAMELS & KASBAHS - FAMILY HOLIDAY

My son and I had a fabulous trip to Morocco during October half term 2013; it was my son's first real adventure holiday and we plan to take lots more!

LAND OF THE TIGER

This is a packed itinerary, but very well organised as usual with Exodus. Everything went according to plan with no hiccups. There are a lot of long drives between parks, but it gives you plenty of time to take in the amazing countryside. I love these long drives as there is always something to see.

HIGHLIGHTS OF MOROCCO

The tour was great way to see a diverse and culturally rich country.  I thought it had a good mix of different cities, activities and sights.  Being on a tour, you got to see alot of Morocco in a short amount of time which might take longer if you were to do it on your own.  It gave me a sense of the country and a good springboard to decide where I wanted to explore further.

HIGHLIGHTS OF NORTHERN INDIA

A great but demanding 8 days. Highlight was seeing Tiger and hyena in the Ranthambor National Park and the Taj. Overnight train journeys not for the faint hearted as the 2 12hour overnight trips not particularly pleasant. We were well looked after by the Tour Leader Dinesh who was fantastic. The low point was the rat running across the breakfast restaurant next to the Swati Delux Hotel on arrival in Delhi. Overall, though an experience you will remember for ever of a great country and people.

TIGERS IN FOCUS

A decent number of game drives giving you a good chance of seeing a tiger when you only have limited time for a holiday, also nice to see Agra and the Taj as well.

CHAMONIX SNOWSHOE

We had a great time on the Chamonix Snow Shoe Holiday.  The chalet was a great base - really comfortable and so well run by Abby and Andy.  Stephanie, our mountain leader, was brilliant!  She made such an effort to make sure everyone in the group enjoyed themselves.  The snowshoeing was lots of fun...the only thing that would make it even better is if the walks were even longer!

MARRAKECH & THE SAHARA

I really enjoyed this trip, made special by our exceptional local guide (Mustapha) and an a lovely group of people to travel with. The landscape and Morocca has a very distinctive feel and landscapes of greater beauty than anticipated. I would definately visit again ..... and bizarrely... would love to do more camel riding!
