PETRA & WADI RUM BY BIKE

I chose this trip (my first with Exodus) because I really wanted to see Petra. However, I also enjoy exercising and keeping fit, so the combination of cycling and sightseeing appealed greatly.

CYCLE THE BACKROADS OF SRI LANKA

Are great way to experience the country and its people. The food was awesome, i think i ate my own body weight in in delicious Sri Lankan curries. Many of my Sri Lankan friends back home have said i've seen more of their country than they have. Some days the cycling was tough but you dont feel rushed to get there and you can take your time. If it ever gets too much you can jump on the bus for a while.

LAND OF THE TIGER

This trip was exciting, well organised and inspirational, and exceeded my expectations. It is difficult to find the right words to sum up the whole experience that is India - immense, overwhelming, cultural, basic, ancient , modern, friendly, diverse, colourful, busy, noisy, smelly! and so much more. You have to go and experience it to know exactly what I mean.

A WEEK IN JORDAN

A wonderful week in an amazing country, with good company!  Although Petra was what inspired me to go in the first place, Jordan has so much more to offer - Wadi Rum, the amazing Roman ruins of Jaresh (which I did not know existed), floating in the Dead Sea, snorkelling in the Red Sea, friendly people, good food (on the whole) and a safe atmosphere.

ANNAPURNA SANCTUARY

This was an amazing trek into a beautiful mountain range; We had stunning views of snow capped mountains throughout the trip.  Walking along paths used by locals, livestock and visitoors alike gave a real insight into local village life.

WALKING IN NORTH CYPRUS

An excellent spring break lead by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. Some very pleasant walks, none too taxing. The mountains were greener than I expected and plenty of wild flowers to see. The views from the castles in the mountains are spectacular. Good evening meals are available in local restaurants, particularly in Bellapais.
