IN SEARCH OF THE SNOW LEOPARD

A very rewarding trip to one of the more remote parts of the Himalaya, with great scenery, a great crew, and overall a great experience!

A WEEK IN JORDAN

Interesting in every way. Natural history would make it worth the trip. Add in the masses of history and friendly people and you have a wonderful holiday.

DISCOVER COLOMBIA

Colombia was a beautiful country and away from Cartagena was almost entirely free of other tourists. Villa de Leyva was a beautiful town and the Coffee Region was just beautiful. We mainly found the people welcoming, many just grateful that we were prepared to visit the country at all. Bogota was a Bustling city and around our hotel was busy with upmarket restaurants and chic bars - all of which was a bit of a (welcome) surprise. Public transport into the historic centre was quick and efficient, if inclined to be rather crowded. In the centre Bogota had a good selection of museums but not much else. Bogota, Villa de Leyva, Coffee Region and Cartagena were all so different that the trip could fairly be described as 'varied and interesting.' The only thing that let the trip down was timekeeping. So often we were exceptionally late arriving at places and everything took much, much longer than it was supposed to.

DISCOVER COSTA RICA

The trip is well paced and relaxing.  The wildlife does major on birds even if not on the bird watching departures.  The accommodation and food is very good (where included is mostly buffet style to suit all tastes) and any wildlife is generally close to the lodges.

IN SEARCH OF THE SNOW LEOPARD

I'd wanted to go in search of snow leopards and experience a major Tibetan Buddhist festival since reading Peter Mathiesen's The Snow Leopard while in Lhasa in 1984. This trip exceeded my expectations in every way!
