Fantastic week cycling through spectacular scenery and pretty villages.  Hotels basic but adequate, everyone we met was very friendly and food and wine were superb!

THE AMALFI COAST

An excellent experience. The area is beautiful, the hotel has good accomodation and very good food. The walking was enjoyable with stunning views. The leader was very good and the group bonded superbly. The trips to Pompeii and Herculaneum are fabulous.

There's been comments about this trip and whether it is 'leisurely' or '.moderate'. If you go early July, consider it moderate as you are walking in the heat and it makes a big difference. It's a fantastic trip, a great introduction to Turkey and I would highly recommend it.

PRAGUE TO BUDAPEST RIDE

an excellent concept, linking prague with budapest with maximum sight seeing on a bike.more cycling on cycle paths, particularly along the Danube into Budapest would have enhanced this experience; better hotel, more central in Budapest- poor location, unhelpful staff, poor ending to holiday

Exodus Response

Exodus takes customer satisfaction very seriously. As such we can confirm the hotel used on Budapest on this tour had not been used before and will not be used again.

CARPATHIAN CULTURE AND WILDLIFE

Pleasant weather, a comfortable guest house with good food. The holiday gives good opportunity to see wildlife unobtainable in western Europe, together with a very different culture plus some good trekking. The holiday "did what it said on the tin".

THE POLISH HIGH TATRAS

I love hills and am a good strong walker, but even I was surprised at the steepness of the mountains and the trails that pretty much always bomb straight up them. But saying that if you are a good walker there is some great trekking to be done here......as long as you don't mind 2000 other people along for the ride.

Exodus Response

In response to comments regarding the busy trails on this trek. The summer is the best time of year to trek in these mountains and this is also when many families go trekking. It is an extremely popular pursuit both with Slovakian and Polish families and the schools are also on holiday during the summer. The trails are less busy in September .
