EVEREST BASE CAMP

Himalaya is really a big, (inside and outside) sort of place..and it is a very difficult treck as it effect you inside and outside.  I was really lucky and walked this path with wanderful human being (the travel mate, the guide and the porters were truly wanderful).  I could not have been more lucky.....Hope that you too will be as lucky as we have been becouse the experience is behond words.

CYCLING THROUGH RAJASTHAN

I took my 23 year old daughter and we both had a wonderful holiday. You need to have an open mind, willingness to accept what India has to offer rather than a critical eye, ability to get on in a group and  reasonable fitness plus tolerance of the heat if going in March. If you have all these you won't regret this trip. Organistaion was excellent and group leaders could not have been better. Quite a lot of time in the bus but this is necessary to get around the area.

CYCLE INDOCHINA & ANGKOR

This was a first class holiday due to the organisation used. Thailand was a beautiful peaceful place, Cambodia was lively and full of historical interest. Vietnam was noisy and amazing to learn and see so much about the place. The cyling was at just the right pace as we were a large group they had other guides to keep an eye on all of us. Back up team always came up trumps with cold drinks and fresh fruit.

CYCLE NICARAGUA, COSTA RICA AND PANAMA

This is the perfect holiday for somebody who loves to be on the go all the time, likes the idea of whizzing through 3 beautiful and interesting countries on a bike, and doesn't mind a bit of time spent on a minibus,  but likes to fit in lots of other things too - birds, animals, history, scenery, rain forests, seas, boats, volcanoes and endless cocktails!

CUBA: LA ISLA GRANDE

Probably the most touristy Exodus holiday we've had, but a very good way to see a lot of Cuba and start to understand what's happening there

PEAKS AND VALLEYS OF THE ATLAS

This was my first trip with Exodus and I feel that it couldn't have been any better. As a teenager looking for some adventure I found this trip to be a fantastic holiday. I travelled alone yet felt part of the group very quickly after arriving. We were well looked after by our guide and muleteers from start to finish, yet the sense of exploration isn't lost. Although I am not an experienced hill climber I am used to walking regularly so found that my fitness level was high enough to be able to enjoy the experience without finding it too demanding. In terms of scenery there is plenty to look at, as well as getting a good insight into the Berber way of life. Towards the end of the trek the Toubkal climb is something to look forward to as reaching the summit gives a good sense of achievement. The food provided throughout was very impressive as we were consistently well fed. Our cook Hassan did an amazing job with lunch and dinner. Each day these meals were very tasty and well presented. There was always a good supply of tasty vegetables, soup, fresh bread and pasta/rice/couscous (Although the meat – which was only served a few times - was not very popular). The time spent in Marrakech is a very different experience to climbing but is again very interesting and exciting. The contrast between the peaceful mountain life and the bustling streets is a nice change. With plenty handmade objects on offer, the markets offer a great deal of good quality and unique souvenirs if you have the patience to haggle for the price. Although I was content with the following I am aware this trip is not for everyone as there are many consecutive nights spent in tents and a long time without any access to running water (so no toilet or shower for over a week). Also the hotel in Marrakech, along with the gites are quite basic. With this considered, I would strongly recommend this trip to any fit individual who is happy to rough it for a while. This journey provides an amazing challenge which will reward you with plenty of sun, some great scenery, the chance to meet many interesting people, and the opportunity to bag three peaks over 4000m. And finally, I could afford this on a student’s budget which says a great deal about the value of this experience!

A TASTE OF CUBA

A fantastic holiday. Great mix of sight-seeing in cities, alongside beach and Caribbean boat snorkelling downtime. And a brilliant group of 18 people, aged from 21 to nearly 70, half and half solo and couple travellers - not Exodus's doing as a bit pot luck, but clearly their trips attract a great munch of people.
