FINNISH WILDERNESS WEEK

Wow what a week, we had a fantastic time, Eki was an excellent guide, the food was great, scenery stunning and the activities were brilliant. Only downside was no Northern Lights but still a great week to remember and the weather can't be helped.

EGYPTOLOGY

Incredible trip, sights, sounds and words of guide still buzzing around my head. Guide/Egyptologist Sayed Mansour was brilliant - must be the best in Egypt - so knowledgable, lovely sense of humour, gave us time to explore on our own around temples.

JOHANNESBURG TO CAPE TOWN

Just thought I'd respond to Heidi's comment that people should be prepared to help out if you are to keep to your schedule: On a previous trip (Nambia) our guide Maxwell TOLD US OFF for helping: "This is a fully serviced camping trip - it is what you pay for." And this is the case for the J'burg to Cape Town trip. You don't need to help. The crew are well-drilled and operate like clockwork when clearing camp. Yes, of course you can help with stacking  a few chairs etc. but more often than not it is the guests that hold things up. Another gem from Maxwell, and taken on too by Sifiso, our South African guide - "A packed bag is you pass to the breakfast table!"   And how well that works. It was often the case that guests were so busy helping out clearing camp that we were held up and had to wait for THEM to pack their bags. No problems with the schedules - all you have to do is make sure that YOU are ready. (A great trip which I could readily do again.)

CYCLE MOROCCO'S GREAT SOUTH

A great chance to see spectacular mountain and coastal landscapes, away from the crowds of the big towns, and generally on quiet roads with little traffic apart from the occasional donkey! The trip gave us a good taster for Morocco, and left us wanting to come back again to discover more of the country.

This was the most amazing experience ever, there is nothing we can fault. Amazing snow, the Northern Lights (on 3 nights), fantastic food and accommodation and wonderful guides for all activities.  The 2 day dog sledging was the highlight and a full on adventure from beginning to end.We loved it and would love to go back for more.

CUBA: LA ISLA GRANDE

A good way to see the whole island, but more driving than I expected and too little time to explore. However if you want a taste of Cuba and don't mind fitting in just under 3,000 KM of driving it is a great introduction to the island.ed
