THAI INDOCHINA EXPLORER

This was a well organised trip unfortunately we did not get to Bankok because of the horrible flooding instead we were sent to Pattaya  which is the worst place I have ever been.  I appreciate that the change was necessary but it spoilt the end of what had been a wonderful holiday, if Pattaya had been my only experience of Thialand I would be very reluctant to go again.  Fortunately I had been to Thialand before and know that Pattaya is not typical.

HIGHLIGHTS OF NORTHERN INDIA

I wasn't sure what to expect from India. I wondered whether I would be troubled by the dirt and poverty we all know exists, but I couldn't have been more wrong. It turned out to be the most colourful, vibrant, exciting place and it shot straight into my top 3 favourite places in the world. This tour provides a perfect 'first flavour' of India and I will definitely go back to see more.

Another world, gigantic figures, impressive ruins and after thousands of years, still well preserved.  Highly recommended and an inspiration to our ancestors - a tintilising taste to start a new journey of discovery into Eqyption mythology.

THE ZAMBEZI VALLEY

A great way to see Zambia and interact with the river life.  Great exercise without being overly challenging.

We saw an amazing amount of wildlife.  There is nothing to compare to seeing polar bears in the wild, interacting with their young and fending for food.  The ship's crew and the expedition staff worked untiringly to enable us to see as much as possible, while maintaining as first priority the wellbeing of the wildlife and their environment.

HIGHLIGHTS OF CHINA

It was an incredible trip in that I saw so many amazing sights and experienced a culture removed from our own. However, the number of people at some of the sites was a bit over powering, as was the amount of smog around the cities. I had not really been prepared for either.
