ANNAPURNA SANCTUARY

A varied, reasonably strenuous, and interesting trek, with an excellent lead guide in Prem and 15 other "solos" to chat with. It took in paddy fields, farms, small settlements, forest, ridges, deep valleys, treeline then snowline and barren desolation. A true adventure.

This is probably the best of the 7 exodus cycling trips I've done. It's hard, a full C but full of variety and interesting things to see. I really liked the fact that we could (if we wanted) cycle the whole route from start to finish, made the trip much more satisfying. Someone calculated that our cumulative total ascent over the 10 days came to just over 9000 metres, that's equal to cycling up Everest!! Some cycling trips I've done have felt more like a bus trip with a bit of cycling thrown in. You really don't get that feeling on this trip.

CYCLE NICARAGUA, COSTA RICA AND PANAMA

This is an excellent trip a very good balance between cycling and the necessary evil of transfers on coach. The guides were all excellent (Rob & Britten and Pol), the bikes were very well looked after checked everynight and morning before use again. Our group ranged from 25 to 72 and everyone was allowed to go at their own pace (I was daily beaten by the 72 year old - something to aspire to maybe) everyone in the group got along well which was the icing on the cake for this trip.

PERU EXPLORER

A fantastic route through some brilliant sites. Well looked after by Rene the guide and the various local guides and porters / chefs on the trek. Small group size (7) really helped. Strongly recommend the route and Exodus

Being seasoned Exodus travellers we thought this trip would be more leisurely than most we have been on.  After all it is classed as moderate but the trek up Table Mountain, although short, is strenuous and the Wolfberg Arch trek has some scrambling going up the cracks and is a good six and a half hours round trip in very hot conditions.  The four hour walk along the Krom River on day seven is also quite rocky in places.  But overall, the scenery is beautiful and the weather excellent at this time of year (November).

ANNAPURNA CIRCUIT

A truly fantastic trek through constantly changing scenery. Rivers, valleys, forests, waterfalls, wonderful, snow capped mountains, desert-like areas, flowers, rice fields, bamboo, monkeys, yaks, lizards - so much to look at and absorb.  I feel very fortunate that I had the opportunity to do it, and with such great group of people, too. It was all a marvellous experience.
