LAND OF THE TIGER

What an amazing trip. 12 days of peace and quiet to just be alone with nature at it's finest. If you don't get too hung up on the Tigers and go for the whole package you will have an amazing time (and take some beautiful photos to come away with). If you do just go for the Tigers, you will still have an amazing time, you'll just come back dissappointed a few more times than I did. That said, we still saw 11 of them! The remaining 4 days are not quite as peaceful but traveling is a necessity and the Taj is the most beautiful thing i have ever seen, even if it means enduring city life. I would definitely recommend it to other solo travellers, even on a non solo specific tour. Our group number was 5 in total and we were extremely lucky for that. As expected the tour was full of like minded people and we all had a great time together.

It was a well planned and fascinating trip which visited a fabulous selection of sites.  The standard of hotels varied considerably.  From excellent in Amman to truly awful in Damascus.  Hotel Al Bustan should NOT be used again.

WALKING IN ANDALUCIA

Andalucia is a very special place with a strong and impressive sub-culture of its own. This was an enjoyable trip in every aspect made extra special by our tour leader, the lovely Suzie. She is a gem. Hang on to her Exodus.

WALKING IN ANDALUCIA

A lovely holiday in a fascinating and very beautiful region of Spain. Each walk was completely different and the whole holiday gave a wonderful introductory taster to the diversity, richness and colours which make up the Andalucian landscape.

KERALA & TROPICAL INDIA

Nice bike ride along the backroads of Kerala. Occasionally very hot and humid, what made the uphill quite a hard work. The itinerary is a very good mix.

What a fabulous holiday!  Syria, in particular, was much more than I expected.  The people everwhere in both Syria and Jordan were so friendly, inviting and helpful as we found in Aleppo and Petra.  Syria was amazing and inexpensive.  Jordan on the other hand, while with its own amazing sights, was more expensive and commercialised with places like McDonalds and Pizza Hut much in evidence.  Despite the troubles which were beginning to surface in Syria, we never felt threatened or unsafe anywhere.  The souks in Damascus and Aleppo were busy but were places you could enjoy without being constantly hassled, even in the evening.
