CYCLING CUBA

Just spent an amazing two weeks cycling in Cuba.  Sunshine, exercise, beautiful cities, countryside and beaches and the local people were really friendly.  I feel like I've seen it all, but still dieing to go back again.  The cycling was challenging, we had a really sociable group of differing ages, couples and singles and everyone got along really well.  Added to that the music, dancing and of course, the rum, it was most definitely one of my best holidays ever.

A well thought out itinerary efficiently executed by an extremely professional and customer focused Exodus team.  A superb way of "seeing" the ancient wonders of Egypt in relative comfort and in a relaxed manner.

MARRAKECH & THE SAHARA

The trip was a good mix of sand, hills and town!  We got to see lots of 'real' local life and felt quite remote but arriving in the 'city' was a bit of a shock to the system after all that peace and quiet!

EGYPTIAN DISCOVERER

I had wanted a trip which took in all the main sites of Egypt - the Pyramids, the Nile, Aswan, Luxor - and this was just perfect.   A great mix of historical sites, modern Egypt, optional activities and relaxation.

This is a fabulous way to see Jordan since it's such a small country and you can drive through it in a matter of days. I never imagined desert scenery could be so spectacular!

Food was challenging on the trek, on the plus side, it's a great natural way of losing weight.  The trek itself is second to none - challenging in all aspects (mental & physical).

Trekking Highlights of Cuba

CAMINO DE CUBA

Cuba - a country on the cusp of change, is a fascinating place. The people are warm & friendly, the atmosphere very diverse with colourful colonial architecture & modes of transport ranging from horse-drawn carts to Chevvies. Once out in the countryside you are transported back in time. Trekking in the mountains of the Sirra Maestra, visiting the revolutionary headquarters and the mausoleum give you an insight into how the revolution was achieved. Revolutionary slogans are everpresent reminders of who's in charge. Viva Cuba!
